A Christmas Carol (Radio Theatre)

We listened to it as a family on our drive to celebrate Christmas with extended family. Character voices and sound effects & music were very good. The additional narrative about the famous author was an added bonus. The story kept the attention of my 12- and 10-year-old, who are accustomed to watch movies/tablets, for the 2+ hr trip.

What can be said that hasn't about Scrooge? We all share some of his less than admirable qualities. Even knowing the story doesn't lessen the anticipation....the feelings of hope & joy we know will come. I have every film adaptation that can be bought...but somehow using your imagination (mind's eye) in this format is so exciting & satisfying. I look forward to November 1st every year so I can experience it again & again.

Gift for my Husband, He Loved it!

I love Focus on The Family's Audio Theater productions. They are very well done and my children and I will listen to them for hours.! Bought this one for Christmas and we loved it. Caught my 12 year old listening to it way into the night. That makes me happy!

This is our favorite story to listen to on Christmas Day with our family. It's a tradition every year.

This is my favorite Christmas story, after the "original" in the Bible - Focus on the Family's production comes alive as you listen - the history of Dicken's original work was hugely interesting as well! I highly recommend this.
