Does NOT work with multiple gang boxes. Proprietary mounting pattern.
I wished I'd read all the reviews here before buying so I knew that it does NOT work with multiple gang boxes/switches. It makes zero sense to me why Koogeek did not build this around an existing standard to fit a standard electrical box. It's proprietary arrangement that adapts to a single-gang box. I've included photos of how I adopted it to work in double gang box, but it's so hack. I trimmed the top and bottom mounting flanges off the switch and then clearanced the hole in the decorator switch plate so the koogeek switch face would fit. A small hole was drilled in the switch plate to access the reset button. Then the front section of the switch was removed and epoxied it the switch plate. The back section with the pigtails was wired into the box. The switch plate / switch front combination was then snapped back into the switch back section, and then mounted to the box.The switch was simple to set up with HomeKit and works as advertised, but I think the proprietary mounting arrangement is complete nonsense.

Works Exactly As Expected, Would Definitely Recommend.
This is my review of the Koogeek Smart WiFi Light SwitchPACKAGING : It is packaged in a simple white box, it looks nice, and all contents inside came undamaged, so I would consider the packaging satisfactory.SETUP : Setup was very easy. It installs just like a regular light switch, but it does have a white wire, along with red and black, so if your installation point doesn't have a white, you're out of luck. After getting all the wires plugged in, it was as simple as downloading the Koogeek app (IOS only) and searching for a device, you have to be on a 2.4 Ghz WiFi network, because that's how it connects. Once you have found it, you just put in the code that comes with the product, and BAM, you have control over your light switch via your phone.FUNCTIONALITY : This functions as well as any other regular light switch, and feels sturdy enough, along with the added functionality of remotely controlling, which works really well.OVERALL : Overall, if you are looking to be able to remotely control lights in your house, I would definitely recommend this. It was easy to install and get running, and works well.

Great Apple HomeKit switch, for the right application.
Works as expected, but I have 1 suggestion: it seems it would be easy enough to make it shaped/sized to fit standard decora wall plates rather than *just* the single plate that comes with it. The included plate works fine if you're replacing a single switch with a 1 switch wallplate, but if you're replacing one that is next to other switches, there is no easy way to cover all the switches with a single plate, since this one is a tiny bit larger than the normal rectangular rocker switch size. The only other things to be aware of (which are well documented), is to make sure you have a live and neutral wire (needed to power the switch when it's "turned off" so the wifi still works), and that it only works with single switches (not multi-way switches where you have multiple switches controlling 1 light). Overall, I am quite happy with it, I just wish I could buy a wallplate that would cover it and the switches next to it correctly

Not Reliable - Koogeek Smart WiFi Light Switch Single Pole
We had this switch installed by an electrician a year ago to control our exterior lights in the front of the house. About a month after it was installed it went down. We reset it, it worked for a few weeks and then it went down again. This has been the case for the past year. We reset, it works for a short time, then goes down again. We don't have issues with anything else that we have attached to HomeKit. It's not our router or internet speed. We are able to stream TV without issue, control our thermostat, our home security alarm, security cameras, and even our sprinkler system. This is a huge disappointment!

Works like a charm
This smart switch is really cool. It's easy installation just please turn off the circuit breaker first before doing the electrical. It's 100-120v ac alternating currenT and has 3 wires. I'd suggest to take a picture of your old switch internals before installing this one for reference. You must be on wifi for this to work and download the Koogeek app. Adding the device I had to restart the app a few times but it's working great now. I can use it to control multiple different koogeek devices and they work great. Perfect for anyone wanting to create a smart house. I can have the lights turn on in the driveway before walking into the house. A big plus for me.

* The best wifi HomeKit Switch (maybe also the case for non HomeKit platforms)* Easy to install* Negative that has been discussed is cover plates for multi-switch setups:1) it works with standard rectangular opening2) home depot and other places have different combinations of multi-cover plates. ex. see the attached picture of my setup with 2-toggle + Koogeek (standard USA) rectangular openingVerdict: Koogeek products have been really good for me with the wifi connection. I wish there is more publicity for these products. I also have been using two P1 plugs for last year with excellent response. P2 plug suppose to overcome the only negative (covering the second socket) with added night LED light ring. I am waiting to buy two P2s, and they are sold out during this pre-xmas period! They seem to response really fast to overcome negatives with the next generation (ex. P2 superseding the 2nd socket covering P1)

Nice design.
My husband is an electrician and I figured there would be no problem installing this. My husband had trouble right from the start. The Koogeek Smart WiFi Light Switch doesn't use standard mounting hardware. It's limited to their wall plate design instead of being a universal wall décor plate. This product won't work in a multi-gang box containing other switches which is all I have in my home. Other than this not being a universal product, you can't beat the cost and how nice it looks.

Easy to use and works fine
The smart switch is easy to setup and works well. My kids lost the remote control to our ceiling fan so I got this to be able to turn it off and not have to get out of bed to turn the fan or light off. The app is simple to use and it setup with ease. It works fine and was easy to install to replace our old wall outlet. Overall, I'm pleased for the decent price too.
