Overall the light is great - five stars for doing what it's supposed to do, but there's a catch. Having already purchased a white one, we purchased a second one in black. Unfortunately, there is a loud squeal coming from the base in the 14 - 17 khz frequency range, and it's most pronounced when adjusting the brightness either up or down. This sound frequency range is crucial because generally only teenagers can hear it; as we age we lose the ability to hear frequencies this high (I cannot hear it at all). We did exchange it but the second one had the exact same problem (our original white lamp did not have this problem). According to my kids, if the brightness is all the way up or down, the sound is tolerable. That's not exactly helpful if you want the brightness in the middle. We also tested it in different locations to rule out any electronic interference with the power supply. Both the seller and Amazon were very helpful with the exchange/return.

I'm sure we all paid 50, 60, a $100 dollars for desk lamps in the past. This a great lamp at any price, but for what it costs, its a steal. You'll pay double for the same lamp on AliExpress. Feels solid, looks nice, doesn't twist or wobble. Easy to tighten hinges if needed. Nice, bright, and even light that's about as glare free as you can get. I use it during the day to illuminate paperwork next to my computer and it has to compete with the light from uncurtained windows AND my room light.It has the same stability as any other tilting lamp that doesn't use a clamp. That is, don't try to tilt it within about 30 deg of horizontal and it will be fine. Sure, the manufacturer could have added another half pound of weight to balance it at the extreme extensions, but is that what customer really want? (I really can't believe people complain because you can't extend it almost parallel to the ground - who ever uses a light like this?)The timer is a free bonus, wouldn't judge it by that. Yes, the buttons don't illuminate, but I don't know of any lamps that have this feature and even if you'd want lighted buttons next to your bed. I couldn't hear any noise, but am over 50.If it holds up in the next few weeks I'll probably order another.

I've had this lamp for 2 years and used EXTREMELY lightly- didn't use it at all for the better part of one year. It just died on me- definitely nowhere close to the supposed 40,000hr lifespan. Closer to 200 hrs. Figured I'd just change the light bulb- not an option. Once the bulb burns out, this lamp is dead. Bad for your wallet and the environment. Not making the bulb replaceable is absolutely terrible and wasteful design.

Love my lil touch screen lamp works great only thing is the top of the lamp does not stay wher u place it its looks like the screw that holds the stem & the light together are stripped so it will just flap down instead of staying up unless u lift it realy high i need it to face towards my paperwork on my desk & not blind my face or co-workers lol cuz its that bright if I can fix this small issue I will love this lamp because other than that the lamp is perfect my co-workers are jealous lbs😏 today I tightned the lil screws to to see if my lamp will stay & it did so thers nothing wrong with it if u recieve yur lamp just tightn yur screws a lil if loose or maybe loose then it will work perfectly so diaregaurd my 1st flaw highly reccomend & added a pic to show the display of it thank u🥰

Great lamp, it's slim profile made it a breeze to fit on my cramped computer table.The neck and base are pivoted to give you full control over movement.There are different modes of light to select, from soft light to a harder monotone light, it's hard to explain without showing it but the light it gives off is very pleasing to the eyes and it wraps around the environment very well.,meaning it's a very solid pattern that shines well with no bright spots or stray beams.On the flat base of the unit are buttons that control dimming, light type and even a timer. The buttons are responsive and everything about this lamp speaks high quality. It also remembers the last settings.All in all a great value for the money, I will probably get more for other rooms.

There are many similar designs being sold on Amazon, but what I liked about this particular lamp:- It is more compact. Other desk lamps are taller and have longer light source. I needed a compact lamp that could quickly fold flat for transportation- Power source is a switching supply with USB cable. It takes less space on a power strip, and you can quickly find a replacement cable and power source if you misplace the original. With a dedicated custom AC power supply on other lamps you are out of luck- The base is covered with soft material to prevent table scratches. Competitor lamps have smooth plastic- This lamp is considerably cheaper than everything else in the same categoryOverall, a clear winner for me.

I am so tired of this. I find a great product on Amazon, I buy it, then I try to buy it again, and the 2nd time it's not the same product. The 2nd version had a totally different lamp head, skinny and long, which made it out-of-balance and easier to tip over. The original had a lamp head roughly equal in length to the base, and a little narrower width. The new product had a cheap twisty power cord, unlike the original which had a higher quality and longer power cord. Amazon needs to do a better job of keeping these merchants honest. If you change the product, you need to market it under a new listing. I went back to "repurchase" the same product and got a different lower quality product. Shame. I have no idea if it will last as long, I already gave it away.
