kraken v4 pro its amazing
Bought from amazon resale on excellent condition and i recieve an excellent condition krakens. The haptics on blutooth phone are directional for default. I could configure it with no problem on my razer blade. I read bad reviews about failing when buy new but i recieve this used (tested previously) so it works 100 for me.My comments: its very difficult to configure the oled hub with the headset because you need to restart and reconect the item if not there will be no sound of your first 2.4 connection on pc, after configure it on pc and turn on manually the DIRECTIONAL haptics because they are turn off by default. Nice product.

They got the firmware up now but the headphones still suck.
3/29/25Firmware unavailable from Razers website since 3/16/25.These headphones are NOT blowing me away. I upgraded from nearly decade old Naris and it sounds about the same out of the box. I hope the firmware update is going to do something or I will be returning them. I will also be returning them if the firmware update is unavailable within my return window. Do not buy these right now. You're just going to be incredibly disappointed. In the current state id say they're worth MAYBE $75-$100 if I am being extremely generous, this is only because of the RGB. Forget $300-$400.4/6/25 - Firmware update is available. Tried them all day today and just wasn't impressed. Took a gamble and bought A50s just to make sure I wasn't being a diva. 100% these headphones just are not worth your money. Returning them and sticking with the A50s. Do better Razer. I had an all Razer setup and now I am considering selling all the rest of it and moving to Logi. RIP Razer, you used to be a good company. Idk what happened.

Great Headset!
The sound quality is excellent even with my Xbox with the AUX cord plug in. Down side is that it does not work with Xbox directly, have to use AUX cord to the controller. But I love the easy UI with the receiver. The dial works great, love the RBG on the headset and the OLED screen is nice and clear. I also really like the retractable microphone for using the headset for music or movies when I am not gaming. The haptics give the headphone a subwoofer feel when there is enough base. The comfort level I would rate 9/10 they are a bit heavy but they are at least comfortable for an over the ear headset. I would say it was worth the money. When I am using the headset for work, it has great range, I can use the simultaneous audio and listen to my phone music anywhere in the office building floor. I also am impressed with the battery life, most wireless equipment I have own dies after a few hours. With the haptics on medium, RBG at 50%-100% brightness, it last me about 15 hours of continuous use before dying on me and charging was super fast less than an hour to get back to above 50% battery life. Highly recommend. would buy again.

Love these headphones!
The Razer Kraken V4 Pro Wireless Gaming Headset has completely transformed my gaming sessions. The audio quality is exceptional, delivering crisp highs and deep, resonant lows that make every game come alive. The THX Spatial Audio provides an immersive surround sound experience, allowing me to pinpoint in-game sounds with remarkable accuracy. One standout feature is the Razer Sensa HD Haptics, which adds a tactile dimension to gaming. Feeling the vibrations of explosions and other in-game actions enhances immersion and makes gameplay more engaging. The haptic feedback is customizable, so I can adjust the intensity to my preference. The headset is incredibly comfortable, even during extended gaming sessions. The memory foam ear cushions and adjustable headband provide a snug yet gentle fit. Despite its robust build, the headset feels lightweight and doesn't cause any discomfort.Connectivity is seamless, with options for 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, USB, and 3.5mm connections. The included OLED Control Hub is a game-changer, allowing me to easily switch between devices and adjust settings on the fly. The battery life is impressive, lasting through long gaming marathons without needing a recharge.Overall, the Razer Kraken V4 Pro is a top-tier gaming headset that delivers on all fronts—audio quality, comfort, and innovative features. It's a worthwhile investment for any serious gamer looking to elevate their gaming experience.

Usb controller resources
This is a really good headset, and my criticism is more about the compatibility within Razer’s ecosystem than the product itself. I’ll keep it short. I have a large Razer setup: Razer Blade 16, BlackWidow V4 Mini, Viper Mini Signature Edition, Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma, Chroma headset stand, Kraken V4 Pro, Seiren V3 Chroma, Nommo Pro V2, and other devices that, thank god, don’t have Chroma. Why thankfully? Because this headset appears to use (just guessing here) 3-bit communication buses, which ends up triggering a pop-up that says “Not enough USB controller resources.” That forces me to choose between chat or game audio, meaning I can’t fully use one of its key features: adjusting independent audio channels on the fly during matches. And to be clear, it’s not like I’m maxing out the Thunderbolt 4 Dock. I still have 3 or 4 unused ports. So, could this be my fault? Maybe. But I wouldn’t be so sure. Razer provides no information or warnings about your system’s USB controller limitations, or how their products might overload it.

Amazing quality! Been struggling with my last couple sets and this one works great! Definitely recommend. Comfortable, but a little snug.

DONT BUY
I would NOT get this headset at this moment. Razer has the software for it all messed up. You will spend hours with the sounds just for it to mess up the next time you use it. Great looking not great working. Very sad on the outcome.
