It comes with detailed parts which need to be assembled for pumping but that is what makes it very easy to clean and sterilize. We tried pumping using manual devices initially but it was very frustrating and led to milk wastage. Its been a smooth sailing ever since we got the promom automatic pump. Easy to use, easy to assemble, easy to sterilize and most importantly it is super comfortable and convenient. We noticed a significant improvement in milk output using promom compared to other manual pumps.
