Excellent knife for delicate cuts
I have three cards I designed that require me to hand cut around the images. It's a cool effect but it has to be the most labor intensive idea I've ever had. Prior to buying this cutter, I was using a #11 Exacto knife and they don't hold a sharp edge for beans. It was super hard on my hands to use so I dreaded when I sold out and had to cut more. This one little cutter made all the difference in the world. The blade holds it edge so it lasts significantly longer than the Xacto blades which makes it so much easier to cut the cards out. I'm so glad I decided to give this cutter a try.

This is what I am talking about...
Good grip and balance. Overall, a far superior experience to the #1 hobby knife brand...

A Great Precision Craft Knife
I bought the swivel version as well, but have found this fixed blade one works best for most vinyl decal cutting, being left handed. The swivel version tends to be hard to see the lines I'm following due to the angle on the blade. If you were to make it, I would try out a new version of the swivel knife without an angle on it for the tight curves. Both versions of the knife feel very good in the hand with ample control. Overall they are excellent quality.

Cushion Grip!
Love this! Was using an Xacto knife that I have had for years. After getting more interested in Paper crafts I decided to look for a cutter with a cushion grip. I chose this based on a video I saw and the reviews. I have made several projects already & it is awesome! It is so much better on my hand than my old one. The blade cuts very nicely. It took a little getting used to the 30 degree blade vs the generic Xacto blade. But it works like a charm.

Good materials
Good materials, but the threads for the collar was a bit sloppy and, they should be a fine thread, in my opinion

This is a really comfortable cutter to use
This is a really comfortable cutter to use, but it takes a unique blade that I've had trouble getting from any other vendor - which makes them kind of expensive in the long run. I really would have preferred a super high quality handle like this for a #11 blade instead. #11 blades are super cheap, and you can afford to replace them at the earliest hint of dullness.
