Jefferson tools 140A Inverter Arc Welder High Duty Cycle Fitted with 13amp Plug

I bought this as tool to use on my narrowboat, and it's fine. If you follow the settings in the book it welds fine. This is my first time welding, I became fed up of paying people to do jobs I could learn to do myself. I've practiced for 4 or 5 hours and I can get it to do what I want. I would recommend 6013 type welding rods 2.50mm work well. On the down side the ground clamp is a little on the cheap side but that can be replaced for not much money. Good value I'd say.

Hubby pleased with welder. Works off 13a plug. Doesn't heat up after 10 mins as his old welder did.It's just for hobby work, and is doing the job very well.

Compact powerful enough alot better than my old transformer unit.
