Hard to set Bumper in boot.
It was hard to get the bumper into the boot . Had to use hairdryer to relax the plastic to allow it to strch over the rim and sit in and allow bumper to lock onto groove. Definitely assures that the pieces will stay properly positioned though

It's a boot.
Ease of installation? You have to disassemble the whole strut/shock assembly to install it.It remains to be seen how long this thing lasts.

The boot fit easily and perfectly on the new struts of my 2009 Suzuki SX4.
The strut boot was an easy fit on the strut. I did not have any trouble putting it on. It appears to be sturdy enough to last a long time.
