This is great

Got this for a gift for my 8 year old son. He loves it! Take the time to understand how to use it, and to teach the kids how to maneuver it. It’s pretty easy once you play with it for a minute! It has a knob you can twist to make the picture clearer and different buttons for options, it also has a night light on the base you can have on or off. Pretty cool!

I got this for my kids, and they really like it! It's awesome for splashing images of space and planets all over their walls and ceiling, turning their room into their very own cosmic adventure. The projections are really clear and detailed, which makes them feel like they're actually floating among the stars. It's become a favorite for bedtime, helping them wind down and drift off to sleep dreaming of galaxies far, far away. The unit itself is small enough to fit on a shelf or a small space on a dresser, so that's pretty convenient. As others have mentioned, some of the discs have images that are not the most realistic or detailed, but it's not a deal breaker. Just a heads-up though, to really get the full effect, the room needs to be super dark. Any little bit of light can wash out the projections, so we make sure to turn off all the lights for the best view. There's also this "shooting star" effect which is pretty cool at first, but it happens more than I would prefer and can get a bit distracting. Despite those small things, my kids love it, and it's definitely added a magical touch to their room!

Bought to use as a night light and it was totally worth the money! 10/10 recommendation!

We use them as memorials for dead relatives. Unfortunately, we need quite a few more of these.

All of the slides have there place, but the moon..... I could have that playing for hours. The density of the stars, the comet(s) that fly by. It's proportioned better than the other slides in that it works well either static or rotating. Aside from getting hung up on one slide, there are 16 in total, and the well built projector shines it's little heart out giving you really good fidelity. The sharpness of each slide can be focused depending on your distance from the surface your shining it up against. It's sturdy, and the changing of slides is relatively easy, but I recommend an adult do it so to not get finger prints on the film. You can select from 3 to no comets.. I prefer at least one for the galaxy type shots. The rotation speed can be adjusted from a stop to a dizzying swirl. Shooting this at roughly 6ft, you can see from my video it covers a huge space. It is a great device, this is probably thee best little night light for all ages.

I picked this up for our bedroom not really knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. It fills the whole ceiling and parts of the wall (depending on the size of the room). There is an adjustment for focus which will sharpen the image, but no adjustment for the size of the projection, so it can't be sized to eliminate overflow onto the walls in a small room ( not a concern for us but could be for some). It comes with a nice variation of slides, some better than others depending on your needs. We liked the "Pillars of Creations" slide and found it vivid and very relaxing to have on. The variable speed allows for a nice collidescope of the night sky. The instructions warn that the slides are the "consumable" parts of the unit, so I am assuming they will wear out overtime. I am unsure if replacement slides are available. The slides chance easily enough but they need to be treated gently and kept clean of fingerprints, this could be a concern if they will be handled by children. All in all, we are happy with the unit and what it does for its price range.

This is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but that doesn't stop it from being a good, quality item. The discs are easy to remove and replace, and my kids love watching them just before they sleep. If there was a brightness button on the device, I'd give it 5 stars. To stop seeing the 'shooting stars' on discs such as the dinosaurs and sea life ones, simply cover up the small lens on the left of the machine. All in all, a good and entertaining item, sturdy and easy to operate. Just make sure you're not looking at the projector lens as you turn it on/plug it in, or during usage. It's very bright.
