I really enjoy using Silver Brush Limited Black Velvet watercolor brushes for my projects. The four-piece set is reasonably priced for such a good quality product. The bristles are soft and are great for painting large and fine details. I highly recommend these brushes.

I’ve been painting since high school, and have used a lot of brushes since then. Mostly inexpensive ones, because I’m just a hobby painter rather than a professional. I’ve got to say, these are the nicest watercolor brushes I’ve ever used. I didn’t expect it to make such a difference when painting, but it really does. They pick up so much color and deposit it so smoothly on the page. I wouldn’t say these are an absolute must have for someone that paints as a hobby, but they’re nice to have if you want to splurge and treat yourself with some very nice brushes.

I have had the opportunity to use many different brushes from inexpensive to top of the line kolinsky sable (genuine).HOW THESE COMEThese paint brushes come in a cardboard envelope which has plastic wrap around each brush and a plastic tube holding the bristles straight.QUALITYWow, these are really nice. I have to say that they perform way better than I expected them to. The brush holds a lot of paint/water. The handles are easy to hold and work with. They clean out very well and are easy to paint with.PERFORMANCEI am so happy with these. They have decent spring, but they also flow similar to nice sable brushes I have. I can get a nice thicker line and down to a really thin line too. Watercolor paint flows very well and allows me to do a lot of different designs before reloading. The load of paint on the brush is very good. Gotta be honest here, every time I get these out, I get so lost in using them, I don't find myself struggling with them at all like some brushes.THE BOTTOM LINEThis set of fine detail brushes is excellent.
