Great product! Catches embers up close to logs. giving a complete burn

Had these for about a year (purchased two at the same time.) They fit nicely in the fireplace and for the most part are sturdy. The screen part fell apart quickly so if you are purchasing these for that feature, don't bother. But othre that that feature, they have held up well.

Seems pretty solid. Burned through my old one. Hopefully this will last awhile.

This was great for about the first month. Shortly after that the mesh started to fall apart. Now the front bar is starting to bend. Definitely not as sturdy as I thought it would be. Probably good for a fireplace that’s used a couple of times a year, not a couple of times a month.

We have a fire place in our den that we do not use. As an old, open fireplace, it was unsightly. We wanted to dress it up a little so we got a fire screen and the Rocky Mountain Goods Fireplace Grate to make it look presentable. We plan to put some small logs in the grate. It is just the right size for our fireplace. It is sturdily built and would serve anyone who wanted to use it for an actual fire. It is a great deal for the price.

The item is OK, but it is 4" smaller than described. It is only 23", not 27", at its widest point (the front feet). Will be returning.

The rack that came with the fireplace kept flaming wood from rolling out onto the floor but that’s about it. Wasn’t near wide enough for our needs and completely distorted after 3 seasons. This new one has a fan shape to match the dimensions and is wider to keep the burnt ends from standing up on the very edges of the fireplace. The expanded metal platform on the underside is fantastic for holding kindling in one place while catching the larger pieces.
