I was debating for a while on what kind of lights to get for my balcony. I originally wanted to get solar lanterns because I thought it would look nice and I could move them around. I ordered a lantern (from a different seller) and it didn't work at all, so I hesitated to spend money on any more, even if they were from different companies. I started looking at string lights but I still wanted solar because there's no outlets on my balcony, I'd have to run an extension through a window screen, and I also didn't want anything else to add to my electric usage. All of the solar string lights I was finding were overpriced and had iffy reviews. Then I came across this set, it's a great price point and although there aren't many reviews, the ones that are there are all positive. So I decided to try. The order came in very quickly, which was yesterday, I'd also ordered some anchored hooks to use to suspend them, and I put them up the moment they were delivered. The description says that there's a remote control but I didn't receive one, this may be a mistake because they really don't need a remote anyhow. I installed the solar panel at the edge of my balcony wall, where it would get the most direct sunlight, and then suspended the lights from the ceiling in a wide zigzag pattern. They were long enough to stretch across the whole ceiling of the balcony, just enough length for what I needed with only one string of lights. I clicked the on button and they were already charged so they worked right out of the box, and they are bright! They were also packaged well, nothing broken and they came with two extra bulbs and a stake for installing closer to the ground if you plan to put them in a garden or other ground level outdoor area. I got them installed very quickly and because it was still light out I had to wait until dark to see how they really were going to work. Nightfall came so I went out to check and at first glance I was completely happy with the look! They are bright enough to light up my whole balcony, which is otherwise very dark after nightfall. They look classy and stayed lit up pretty much all night long. Because they're solar all I had to do was install and switch them on, they charge through the day and come on as soon as it starts to get dark. That's it, I don't have to fuss with them at all and they're a perfect addition to my work in progress of an apartment balcony. It's still very bare bones but I'm working towards turning it into my outdoor sanctuary for relaxing on days that the weather permits. These string lights are an absolute staple and I'm so glad I took a chance on them!I wouldn't hesitate to suggest them to my friends and loved ones, and if needed I will absolutely buy them again above any others!

Long lasting solar bulbs. Love it! Just too expensive:-(

I bought these lights two years ago and they are still going strong. We’ve only had to replace one bulb that probably broke when Wyoming had one of its wind tantrums. They run dusk to dawn very brightly, we can see them probably a good 1/2 mile away coming down the road. They’re great, sturdy string lights to put up with our Wyoming winds!

Solar String Lights , hang from my grill gazebo. Love these. They look awesome, charge fast and keep a charge . Size isn’t to big, easy to install.

I’ve ordered these lights several times over the past few years- but this most recent order is different. Bulbs feel cheap and are made of cheap plastic and they don’t connect with each other anymore.
