This Coconut Shower Gel is wonderful. It works out cheaper than buying ordinary size shower gel from the Supermarket. Perfect for every day use. It is quite "thin", but we like that, as neither of us likes "gloopy" shower gel. It smells lovely, but is not over powering. We decant it into a smaller bottle. It lasts a long time, and is excellent value for money.

I find this a brilliant product; I'm now on my third container (in several years, I should say!) and find that it does the job as well as any. I find that it goes just as far, and that I don't need to use more of it, even though it's cheaper. In that time, it's saved - what? - sixty small plastic gel containers in exchange for three 5L containers. I reckon that's worthwhile, too, along with a considerable saving. The scent of the most recent product seems to have changed slightly (unless I've just forgotten - I neglected to re-order in time, and have been back on big-brand, small-packet gel for a few weeks); it now seems less "coconut" and more...fruity? I actually prefer (what I believe to be) the new product, but neither have been a problem as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, highly recommended - a great value product.

It’s okay, but not amazing as a body wash. Like another reviewer mentioned (July 2025), I don’t feel completely clean after using it and I find I need to use more than with other body washes. That said, I have dry skin and was surprised that it doesn’t dry me out at all. I tried it as a shampoo in a pinch and actually really like it for that. It also works well as a bubble bath, a handwash, and even for cleaning the bath itself with a brush (which I prefer to harsher cleaning chemicals since there’s no worry about residue). The coconut scent is very faint, which is more of a personal preference issue, but worth noting if you’re expecting a strong fragrance. Overall: as a body wash I’d give it 3/5, but as a budget-friendly, multi-use product it’s good value and I’d consider repurchasing (but not to use as a body wash). One thing to mention is that the ingredients on my bottle don’t match the listing or another reviewer’s photo, so it looks like the formulation may change - which might explain why reviews vary.

I have purchased this body wash three times so far for my daily washing needs :P OK, it's not the most attractive brand but; - It does the job - I quite like the smell (my hubby doesn't though, so he has his own body wash) - The texture of the gel is as any other body wash would feel Things to know: - You need a bottle for it really. I bought a very basic pump bottle dispenser (also from Amazon) which I use to refill. - when you fill up your bottle, the gel is quite thick so sometimes it doesn't want to go into the bottle whole. Do it slowly and it works. - there will be some wastage as the gel seeps over the sides - I have found this is good for my autism because it's something I don't have to have on my shopping list every other week to purchase the shower wash bottles from Aldi. It removes a step in the process. - I think this is good for the environment. I don't have to use so many plastic bottles of body wash because I just fill up my bottle. I would recommend.

Coming back to review 6 months after purchase. I use this in refillable dispensers in all the bathrooms in our house - with 4 teenage girls and two adults in the house we were getting through bottles and bottles of supermarket body wash and I was fed up of constantly buying it and the amount of small plastic bottles we were getting through. I absolutely love this body wash/soap. It is fairly thin but has a nice light scent and lathers perfectly well enough. I have sensitive skin and am able to use this with no problems and actually prefer how it makes my skin feel to more expensive products. For less than £10 a bottle it is fantastic value, the huge bottle lasts for ages and I will definitely continue purchasing.

I've been buying this bodywash for a long time now. Rather disappointed that they've put the price up by a significant amount considering this is a thin, watered down bodywash and despite lathering well, it's not luxury by any means! I will probably keep buying though for convenience and I do like the scent.
