5 X 30 Degree Double Headed Carbide CNC Engraving Bit

The bits I received were not as pictured. They were only single ended, not double. However, they cut well. I would recommend them but buyer beware. You might not get what you see in the picture.

I got these things for my CNC machining class and used them to engrave Project ID's and part numbers in my class projects using a Haas CNC vertical mill. It did the job.The bits have very fine, sharp points and you have to be careful when handling them. I had to guess at the machine settings to use them, but a Z-depth of 0.005 or 0.010 seemed to work.I don't know how much usage I should expect to get out of these things. They seemed to work well for 5 or 10 parts before the tip gets worn down.

These are small and not what I expected. They appear sharp but are small and need a different collett. Wont fit very far into the router. They are certainly inexpensive. For a hobbiest and CNC carver I would not buy these again. They are currently sitting in a box.

It's probably just me, the actual product looks slightly different than the ones in the photo. The ones I received had a slightly longer middle shank.The pointy end(s) is exactly as described and cuts well (I've only tried them on maple and MDF). On my CNC I was running these 0.095" deep at 40" ips @23000 rpm without issue.

Bought these to use at my high school Machine Shop. At 10 for essentially 10 engraving bits, it is a hard deal to beat. Shank is 1/8" in English units.Running on a small DaVinci Techno Dynamo leased to us by a company.Note: This is a VERY sharp tool.

Purchased this set for use on my CNC machine to crave small text and lines on wood plaques. They are super sharp and work great...excellent buy for a great price. Glad I decided to purchase them.
