No more broken fingers!
The media could not be loaded. I have nerve issues from an old sports injury, so my hand-eye coordination is not the best anymore. Hammering punches and rivets is the bane of my existence when it comes to making leather armor or trim for chainmail. This thing has solved both problems and then some. As other reviews have mentioned it doesn't have the smoothest operation and is a bit off-center, but for my purposes neither of those is worth knocking off a star. This has cut literal hours off the first piece I've used it to make and saved my hands in the process.I didn't see it mentioned in other reviews I read (and I read 20+ before purchasing), but this can also be used to set rivets if you already have the tools on hand to do so. I chucked my rivet setter up, put the base die on, and it worked perfectly for that too. I couldn't be happier with this.If you do any sort of leatherwork and are hammering punches and rivets, I absolutely recommend picking this up.

Very easy to use
I work with leather and needed a faster, more accurate, and specially, more quiet way of punching holes in the leather. I live in an apartment complex so hammering in the holes with a mallet not only made for a very hard practice to keep a straight line of holes but it was very loud and impossible to produce the volumes that I needed for my projects. This press was a huge solution for me and now I can stay as late as I want punching holes away on my leather and hand stitching my wallets away. The machine comes in ready to use, well oiled with all the tools you need for hole punching, stamping and more. The price is unbeatable as well.

Helpful Tool
Overall I really like this tool. It's basically just an arbor press with a drill chuck attached, so it's fairly simple and unlikely to wear out with normal use. I bought it primarily because I wanted to poke stitching holes in leather without pounding on my pricking forks. For that it works great and the holes are perfectly vertical. So far I'm really happy with it.Really the only area that this machine could be better is the chuck height adjustment. The two allen screws could probably be replaced with tool-free hand operated bolts of some kind to make things a little easier.

Best tool for the price!
The media could not be loaded. Although I was reluctant to purchase this tool due to the price being so inexpensive, I have found that it’s a great multi-tool for setting rivets, line 20/24 snaps, segma snaps, punching holes and cutting corners. Good for pretty much anything you would normally use a mallet/maul for without the pounding. The only thing is that changing the tool from hole punch to setter is a bit time consuming due to the metal plate getting in the way. I have removed the metal plate ( but still use it) as you will see there is a hole in the center of the tool itself but not the metal plate. This allows me to change out the tool from the chuck without having to adjust the placement of the mechanism holding the chuck or spinning it out of the way of the plate. It’s a little confusing but once you have the tool you will know what I mean. All that being said I do find that for now I’m mostly just setting rivets with it so very little adjustments needed.PS you can stack poundo boards and/or poly plates to raise height to account for the tool being used.

Sturdy, easy to use, but presses uneven for stamps
It’s sturdy, easy to use, but it doesn’t press evenly. I’ve noticed that after a few uses. If you’re using this to punch holes, this is perfect. But designs, it comes out uneven, one side is pressed more Than the other side. I’ve used different tools and stamps, but it is the press that is uneven. Really debating on returning this for that exact reason.

Great tool, easily outperforms mallet and pound-o blocks
I am a relatively new leather worker but I have made about four pairs of shoes and around 25-30 small pieces like wallets and books. This press thing is great for taking the worst job — pounding holes for stitching — and making it into a fast procedure.I am impressed with the accuracy of the arm — there is zero movement — and the included pricking irons are decent quality. It assembles easily and works smoothly and efficiently. I would certainly buy another one.

Brilliant
I bought this after nearly ordering a handyman press to punch biothane. This was £350 cheaper so thought I'd give it a go and it's brilliant, very sturdy and cuts through it like butter. Very happy with it thank you.

Time saver
One of my best purchases for leather crafting. Built sturdy, easy to use. Sure beats stamping by hand with a wooden mallet plus you can adjust applied pressure to get a good crisp indentation.

O.K. for light work.
Not bad for the price. O.K. for leather 5 mm / 8 ounce . Handle is awkward.

I recently bought this product is working perfectly! I did initially have an issue with a part of the machine, however, they were great at replying quickly and resolved the issue immediately. They delivered the replacement part to me in less than 2 weeks and everything is working smoothly. Highly recommend the product for the price that you are paying for!
