Lovely underglazes!
I bought these because they were a great price and I liked the bottle design. With only a handful of reviews it felt like a risk, but hey, that's pottery. I am so happy with the application and the vibrancy of the colors. I used this one a white stoneware (Standard 630), covered it in Amaco Potter's Choice Celadon mixing clear, and fired to cone 6.

Good beginning underglaze
Great starter kit of underglaze. Needs 3 layers for best effects. The atomic red tends to be gray under reduction, but most of the other colors come out true.

Not good.
UPDATE - After covering with clear glaze and firing to cone 6 these underglazes moved, leaving large areas with no color, just the clear glaze even though the UG was applied to greenware and looked good after bisque firing.Just tried these and fine them super easy to mix - just shake a little, and very easy to paint on. The painting I did on greenware came thru bisque firing with no change to the vibrant colors waiting to see what happns with fully fired to cone 6 with studio clear glaze over. The reason I gave 3 stars is that I could not find any info on the manufacturer, and while the note on Amazon indicates lead free and food safe, I would like to read what the company says about the underglazes and see more detains on the labels with currently have nothing but the name of the color.
