I bought my first Travel Book Rest in Ireland last year & it's been all over the world with me. I now own 3 of them, one to be given as a gift. If you eat alone & love to read while you eat, it's a godsend. You prop up your Kindle on the stand, pick up your knife & fork & can actually finish a meal without balancing your book on salt & pepper shakers or your glass of iced coffee. Without my Travel Book Rest, I have been known to actually knock over my iced coffee all over myself. Kind of kills the pleasure of reading what that happens. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. You'll love it, too.

I love these travel book rest. It folds flat so it can go in my purse. I use it for my iPad. I've bought 3 of these.

Really love this stand. Folds completely flat for travel then opens and locks together in sturdy triangle setup. I found one at a bookstore and liked it so much I bought a second one on Amazon for the iPad. (Note: If using for phone, must be in landscape orientation.)

travel book rest was a good price and will do the job. I hope the plastic holds up with use from opening the part that holds the pages. we'll see!

It doesn't hold up to the weight of a tablet.

I had picked up a grey on at Tuesday Morning and hubby confiscated it..... I order myself one.... I love it totally for books and my tablet.

This little book rest was bought to rest my kindle on and woks well. I’m not sure how well it would work with a book though as it’s smaller than I expected. On the plus side it’s easy to pop into a handbag to transport wherever you’re going.I like a book rest because my hands get a bit painful holding a book/kindle for long periods and I’m an avid reader.
