Shimano 105 RD-5701 GS Max 32T Double C/Set Rear Derailleur

Perfect replacement to a derailleur that had been bent in an off and easily fitted and adjusted. Being longer than the original I was also able to change the rear cassette to allow more range in lower gears.

Excellent Shimano quality, delivered quickly.I have a slightly older Giant gravel bike, with older Tiagra 10 speed shifters - this is the only remaining derailleur that cater for this, as the Tiagra 4700 series isn’t compatible.This is happily working for me on a 11-34 cassette, despite being listed as a 32 maximum tooth count.

Bought this to replace my 105 short cage derailleur, as I wanted to increase my cassette from an 11-28 to 11-32. Was very happy with my old 105, so when it came to making a change I was keen to keep the same model. Simple install and all working perfectly, the gear changes are smooth and quiet, plus I now have a lower gear to tackle hills on my old legs.

Used on 9 speed with 11-32 cassette as existing derailleur would only go to 28 tooth (at a stretch) Hasn't missed a beat excellent change up and down

I replaced a MICROSHIFT NEW Derailleur with this and the difference is clear to see. Very clean gear changes. Also this came a day early too. Great service great product

Shimano 105 RD GS for up to 32T. Great Shimano design and quality. Easy to fit.

Replacement for older one & also needed longer cage for a 32 rear sprocket, not had chance to use it yet but no doubt it will be as good as all my previous parts from Shimano.
