I recently purchased a set of thickness guides for rolling out polymer clay, and they have exceeded my expectations! These are great for home studios or for having a portable option to bring to group around studios without a slab roller. It's basically a bundle of sticks, so easy to store or carry. They are made of soft wood and light weight, so might not be great for schools with heavy use. The measurements are in metric, which is nice for fine measurements.

This box contains several different sizes of sticks to put on either side of clay while rolling it out to get a desired thickness. I've been wanting to get a bunch of these for my elementary art classroom, and this might motivate me to do it.

Works super well and it's great for handbuilding. Gets your clay down to the thickness you whined easily without having to go to Home Depot/Lowes and get dowels yourself. Win!

These MOWAWA mud sticks are amazing!! There are several sizes from 3mm to 12mm. I chose to use mud sticks with polymer clay. I have trouble with pasta machines, but these were so much easier on the hands for me. The sizes are nice and clearly marked on each stick. The finish was nice and smooth. I can not recommend these more for working with clay! Simple and easy to have in a work area.

Just what I needed! You receive 5 pairs of raw wood sticks, each clearly marked with the thickness in millimeters right on the sticks (3,5,7,10 and 12mm).The sticks are smooth and well made. I did have an issue with one of the 10mm sticks in the set. One is a tad thicker on one edge. I think it was just a fluke and the rest are fine.These make things a lot easier when rolling out my slabs. They help with consistency and are a perfect guide. Such a simple thing that makes a world of difference. They also take up very little space so they’re easy to store.I would definitely recommend adding these to your clay craft tool box. They’re priced fairly, they’re made well and they’re helpful!

At one level, any of these you buy from any vendor, they're going to be pretty much the same. I mean, it's five pairs of wood sticks cut at some set of heights. Not much you can do to stand out, right?The one great thing about these, versus the other sets I've gotten -- they come in a *box*. If you're just going to take 'em out and toss it all, anyway, it doesn't really matter. But if you've got a potter in your life and want to get them a little gift, being able to wrap it nicely isn't nothing. So, thumbs up for the packaging.Other than that, though, its a box of ten sticks.
