Great additional battery, this extreme version will last the longest. Does of course work in the Action 6 too. Don’t bother getting off brand versions as they won’t last nearly as long or be as reliable as this original quality one. 1950 Mah capacity means this can last for at least 2 hours I’ve found, highly recommend this over any other battery.

Great genuine battery that holds charge well and gives noticeably longer runtime compared to the standard one. Charges quickly and I’ve had no overheating or performance issues, even in colder conditions. A must-have if you’re using the Osmo Action for extended filming sessions.

It's well worth having an extra battery in the camera while the charger seats the other three that came with the package. I did the same for my DJI drone.

Seems to squeeze out a bit more recording time over the standard battery - not actually put it to the test, but either way I wanted a spare battery and this fits the bill perfectly for our mtb recordings :)

I’ll admit I’m a little biased when it comes to DJI—I’ve been using their gear for years, from drones to action cameras, and they’ve never let me down. As an underwater videographer producing stock footage, battery life is absolutely critical. This DJI battery really delivers, giving me a solid 60–70 minutes of power underwater, which makes all the difference when capturing the perfect shot. I use these with my DJI Action 5 cameras, and I can confidently recommend them for their power, reliability, and longevity. DJI has also built in protective systems to prevent overloading or overheating, which gives extra peace of mind. I’ve never risked trying a non-genuine replacement, and honestly, I wouldn’t want to—missing a once-in-a-lifetime shot because of a bad battery isn’t worth it. For dependable performance, stick with DJI.

Came in good condition in good packaging with 49% charge, which implies it's manufactured recently (they are charged to less than 60% & stored). Then I checked the label & it says imported in November 2025 (which is just a month ago) & this made me extremely happy. Bought it as a backup for my Action 4 that I bought just 2 months ago. It never ran out of battery on any of my trips yet, the lowest it ever dropped to is 29%. I bought this just for peace of mind. Now I use this bigger battery (1950 mah) as the primary battery & keep the stock one (1770 mah) as backup.

Uso queste batterie da un anno con la mia Osmo Action 5 Pro e si sono rivelate un acquisto molto valido. L’action cam già di suo ha un’ottima autonomia, ma con queste batterie aggiuntive riesco a registrare praticamente tutta la giornata senza problemi. La durata varia in base alle impostazioni della camera e al tipo di riprese, ma in condizioni standard arrivo tranquillamente a 3 o 4 ore di registrazione continua per ogni batteria. Con tre batterie ho coperto intere giornate di escursioni e attività senza dover mai cercare una presa. La compatibilità è totale. La batteria entra perfettamente nella Osmo Action e si ricarica senza alcuna difficoltà direttamente nella camera. La ricarica impiega circa due ore e la percentuale viene letta correttamente, proprio come con la batteria originale. Anche dal punto di vista costruttivo non noto differenze rilevanti. Dopo un anno di utilizzo la capacità è rimasta stabile. Non ho riscontrato cali significativi di autonomia né problemi di surriscaldamento. SINTESI: sono batterie affidabili, compatibili in tutto e per tutto e con una durata che permette di sfruttare la Osmo Action per lunghe sessioni. Ottime per chi registra molto durante la giornata.
