DYJPOW 21V Brushless Drill Set

This drill caught my eye faster than my four-year-old dives for the sprinkles. It feels solid yet light enough for my small frame to swing about without ending up with aching shoulders. The 21 V brushless motor purrs along quietly, with no sparks and barely any heat even after a line of screws. Thanks to 45 N·m of torque, a two-speed selector and 20 + 1 clutch settings, it shifts from flat-pack furniture to metal brackets without chewing up a single screw head. The 10 mm auto-lock chuck grips tight, and the 14-piece bit set, flexi shaft included, has already saved me the indignity of crawling under the sink. Both 2.0 Ah batteries swap over in moments, recharge in roughly an hour and a half, and the little gauge warns me well before the charge disappears. The LED is perfect for those murky cupboard corners. Sturdy build, comfortable balance, a tidy carry case and plenty of oomph make it a pleasure for any home project. Top-notch quality at a fair price, and this worn-out yet smiling nurse is happy to award it a full five stars.

I’m honestly very impressed with this cordless drill! It comes in a sturdy carrying case with everything neatly organized — the drill, two 21V lithium batteries, a charger, and a few useful accessories. The build quality feels solid and comfortable in the hand, with a good weight balance that makes it easy to control even during longer projects. The power is more than enough for home DIY work — I’ve used it to drill into wood, metal, and even masonry with no issues. The variable speed settings and torque adjustment (up to 25 levels) make it versatile for all sorts of tasks, from screwing furniture to light construction jobs. The LED light is a nice touch too — really handy when working in darker corners.

This feels like a cheap bit of kit, but for a stand-by/weekend DIY'er tool, it works really well! The box it's supplied in does feel a little weak, but you don't buy a tool for the packaging. The various drill and screwdriver bits supplied, feel and perform exactly like the price bracket they are in. The drill bits literally didn't last one good use, although the driver bits have lasted a bit longer. The case does feel cheap but it has managed to last a good few knocks and bumps, deceptively so in fact, the clasps do their job well enough that you would think they're on a more expensive case. The driver feels light to the hand but heavy in just the right places, the trigger supplies power right the way through the press. The batteries came charged and feel very much upto the job required, although it will be interesting to see how long they actually last. Would have preferred a different type of charger, other than the on battery socket, although as it's a copy of a more well-known brand, it would be very easy to replace it and the batteries if needed. The only issue I've had is that the chuck occasionally releases, regardless of how tight it was, although this may just be as it's a new chuck. Other than the little niggles, this is a tool that is definately worth the price.

I bought the DYJPOW 21 V brushless drill driver a few weeks ago for a decking project at my sister-in-law’s house. Lifting it out of the case, it felt reassuringly sturdy yet nowhere near as heavy as I had expected, which meant my skinny arms stayed steady even after a long afternoon fixing boards. The brushless motor produces more of a gentle hum than a whine and throws out no sparks at all. It happily drove 100 mm screws into treated pine again and again without a murmur of protest. The advertised forty-five newton-metres of torque seems spot-on. With twenty-one clutch positions I could nip up cabinet hinges without mangling the screw heads, then, by sliding the metal gearbox from the slow 0–550 rpm range to the faster 1 850 rpm range, get straight on with drilling pilot holes. Switching speeds with a thumb press really does save a lot of faffing about. The two supplied 2.0 Ah batteries are worth their weight in bourbon biscuits. One stayed on charge, the other in the drill, and by the time the one I was using went flat the spare had topped itself up in roughly ninety minutes. The LED work light is bright enough for those gloomy nooks under the decking, the battery gauge is easy to read, and the rubber-coated grip still felt secure once the inevitable smear of preservative appeared. The bendy extension shaft they throw in, which I assumed would be a gimmick, actually came in handy behind awkward pipework. Solid build quality, sensible accessories and a very attractive price all add up to a clear five-star rating from me.

Wary at first as the price seemed unbelievable so very suprised at the quality,it's very well made,and,lightweight 2 batteries are a godsend,plus the variety of accessories.the drill has all i need for jobs around the house,long lasting battery life so once again an excellent buy could recommend this to anyone.

Excellent for ease of use and battery life. I've used the screw and drilling functions into wood and metal and it has performed well.
