Genuine White Tea, made from the youngest bud of a unique variety of the tea plant botanically known as Camellia sinensis. Our tea is naturally and organically grown within tropical rain-forests of Sri Lanka (sinharaja).The youngest tea bud is handpicked before the sun rises by a humane and happy group of members without causing any harm to the plant, and nature. A rare and indulgent experience in Virgin Organic Ceylon White tea is subtle and sophisticated in aroma and taste. White Tea consists only of the youngest bud of a special cultivar of Camellia Sinensis which is selectively hand-picked. It contains significantly higher flavonoid levels than black or green tea. Producing White Tea requires a great deal of effort, expertise, and more importantly patience. White Tea plants are not high yielding in comparison to other teas. An expert Tea Picker would only be able to pick around 300 grams of Youngest Tea Buds in a day. It takes 5 - 6 KG of freshly picked youngest tea tips to make just one kilo of Virgin Organic Ceylon White Tea. The fine and tender White Tea buds need to be selectively picked, at just the right age of maturity, and they are then carefully placed in a natural cane bucket to prevent damaging and to protect from direct sunlight.It is then preserved inside natural chambers for 14 days until the moisture is removed naturally. At just the right time, the processed teas are carefully placed under the filtered sunlight of the dawn to ensure that the tea is dry enough for packaging. This whole process is done under the special inspection of an expert tea maker to ensure the best quality.The youngest tea bud of the Camellia Sinensis plant is known to contain polyphenols; the highest levels of antioxidants.

Not Representative of Good White Tea
Perhaps I am just accustomed to Chinese white teas, having had dozens of varieties, but this is terrible. It just tastes like a weak black tea. Unfortunately, I cannot return it, so I guess I am stuck with it.Please, if you are curious about loose leaf white teas, check out ANY OTHER VARIETY than this one; it is an awful representative of the white tea experience.

Tastes good and keep me awake.
Like it. Didn’t have the opportunity to drink every day but the days I did I liked it. Comes in a resealed bag so it’s easy to store. I’m drinking the tea for health benefits. So far it was good in keeping me awake.

Excellent white tea
This is super good white tea and at a very good price.Every bit as good as the best white tea from china or possibly even better give it a try.

Great tea
This tea has a nice mellow flavor. The taste is so pleasant I drink it unsweetened. I also like the fact that I can brew it 5 times and the flavor is very good even with 5-brews. I use a French press to brew which is very handy.

The White Tea is amazing and in a class of their own
I was not a tea devotee until I experienced this Virgin Organic Ceylon White Tea. Previously I drank tea I purchased in tea bags. Even though they were the best brands available as I thought tea was more or less all the same. Then one day I experienced Vahdam tea. The smell and look of the loose leaf tea seemed alive and unique. When I brewed the tea, the colors of the various teas were subtlely different and inviting. The flavor was also beautifully alive and distinct. Now tea is my favorite drink hot or cold. When my friends come over I serve the tea in a clear mug and they comment on the beautiful color and taste. Great tea... great taste... great benefits; unbroken fresh tea leaves
White tea is an excellent choice for weight loss when used in conjunction with green teas and for a healthier and productive lifestyle.I bought this for that reason, and it has certainly helped. But this particular product has a very nice, pleasant taste to it (and I am picky). I definitely recommend it.My sister used it with ground flaxseed daily, and instead of mixing with plain water she brews up a big cup of this white tea and mixes the flaxseed in it; two healthful items in one shot.
