I was hesitant to get this. Not sure what I was getting myself into. But I am pleasantly surprised. They taste exactly as the packets you would get with your "to go" hot dog. So far, we have used these on our hotdogs, tastes great. Each packet covered 2 hotdogs. We also put these on our hash browns that we griddled last weekend. What a nice complimentary flavor. I can see now that there are many uses for these packets. I would not use these as a substitute for chopped onions in a recipe, only as a condiment.

These little chopped onion packets are indeed, handy. They have the same consistency as relish; but do taste like onion. Not like fresh chopped onions; but close enough if you want onions on your burger or hotdog and don’t have a fresh onion handy. I like to get the hotdog at Sam’s and they hardly ever have chopped onions for the hotdog. I’ll keep a few of these packets in my purse and at least I’ll have ‘onion’ for my hotdog!A little pricey for 25 packets; but if you really, really want chopped onions on the go, this will work in a pinch.

The chopped onions come in 25 individually sealed packets. These are the same style packets you may get for take out, at a concession stand or at a fast food place. The onions are not very strong, are diced up real small and are moist. These are great for picnics, beach trips, lunches or for quick home use. The convenience of the pre-portioned packets make them worth having around. The packets take up very little room, they are tightly sealed, disposable and very portable. The product tasted good and I will definitely order other products from them again.

These little packets are great for on the go, bringing to work/putting into lunchboxes, or for when you just need a tiny bit of onion for a sauce or recipe. They're not gonna have the same amount of crunch as a raw onion, but I think if you've ever had one of these little packet, you know exactly what to expect. The only reason these did not get five stars is the price. For almost 9 dollars you should probably have gotten double the amount. For only 25 packets, that is very overpriced in my opinion.

These chopped onion packets are incredibly convenient for adding to burgers, hot dogs, or any quick meal. They come in individual, sealed portions, and while the flavor isn’t as strong as fresh onions, they’re a handy alternative when you don’t want to chop your own.

These are ok and kind of like a relish that you might put on a burger or hot dog. Handy for that and most places that give out ketchup and mustard packets never give out onions. A little bit more like a relish than just onions, though, and enough preservatives in them that we'd probably pass on using them further.

So, these are basically McDonald's quality condiment packets. These would probably be great on a hot dog or on a burger. In other contexts, not so much. The chopped onions are suspended in water (?) and have a bit of a sweet taste. I tried to use some in my cooking and the results were less than positive. But, in a pinch, these would be handy. The expiration is not for late 2025, which is handy. Might leave them in the lunchroom at work for other people.

Convenience is key and I am all for it. I love having chopped onions in my burgers and hotdogs, but hate having to chop them up myself because my eyes are super sensitive and get really teary. These taste great and are similar to the condiments that we get from fast food chains. Super convenient to carry them around in my purse when I need to add onions to my lunch or dinner throughout the week.
