No battery, no app!
And the scales don't wobble around when you do! Very cheap too, but there is a bit of postage and shipping and tax to pay from the States. Worth the effort though.

TIPRE Analog Scale for Body Weight - Accurate analog scale
This analog scale is accurate compared to my digital scale, and the BMI ring is great for getting your BMI at a glance, though it is far from precise.Zeroing the scale is very easy, you just turn a dial on the underside of the scale until the arm points to zero and you're good to go. Likewise, you rotate the bevel around the scale face until it is on your height, and it will show you your approximate BMI, which was basically true when compared to the actual formulaic BMI calculation. The bevel for the BMI reading is quite intrussive, however, and if you have big feet you'll probably be awkward half standing on it.The texture and overall feel of the scale is quite nice, aside from the bevel taking a lot of the foot space.Overall this is a decent analog scale and the BMI reading is a nice addition.

Works well
Works too good, I think it lies! Or I could be simply gaining weight. Simple, no bells, batteries, or flashing lights. Just the cold hard truth.

Great scale, works as advertised, but...
Two stars off for the blatant intentional false advertising. Is this scale sturdy, accurate and easy to use? Absolutely. But it is absolutely nowhere near as thin as the pictures would have you believe. This is one hefty scale. Look at the picture with the measurements listed - the height is accurately listed as 2.5", but now compare that to the 6.3" dial. Notice how incredibly out of scale (pun intended) it is? The 2.5" height should be almost half the size of the 6.3" dial, but instead it's barely1/5th the size. Each photo has been cropped to show only the top of the scale, not the bottom base. It's a shame, because this scale works well, but the cropped photoshopped images just beg for stars to be knocked off the rating.

Reliable and Easy-to-Use Analog Scale for Weight Tracking
I recently ordered the TIPRE Analog Scale for Body Weight to help me monitor my weight loss as per my doctor's advice, and it has proven to be a great tool. This mechanical scale offers precise measurements up to 150 kg/330 lb with clear, easy-to-read dual-unit dials in both kilograms and pounds. The enlarged numbers make checking my weight a simple process without having to strain or bend over. One of my favorite features is the BMI color chart on the dial's outer ring, which offers a quick visual reference for health status based on weight and height—making it easy to track progress at a glance. The scale's wide, anti-slip platform feels sturdy and secure, accommodating larger foot sizes comfortably. It’s also nice not having to worry about batteries; this analog scale is ready to go whenever needed without any additional hassle.Overall, it’s a solid, reliable scale for keeping tabs on weight changes and progress in a straightforward, no-frills way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dependable mechanical scale!

Large size
This mechanical scale is fairly large. There are grips on top, I'm guessing to prevent slipping. It measures weight in pounds and kg. There is also a guide to measure your bmi using weight and height. To begin, turn the dial at the bottom to bring the indicator to the zero lbs mark. Now for the annoying part. Get your phone or tablet out and Google converting feet and inches into centimeters. Turn the bezel so that your height is aligned with the 0 lbs. Now you're ready to step on the scale and rejoice or cry. This also weights up to 330 lbsOne thing I wasn't thrilled with was each time the scale was used, the dial had to be adjusted back to 0 lbs. I also don't believe it's all that accurate. This scale had me 10 lbs heavier than my digital scale and my doctors scale.

Accurate and Easy to Use Analog Scale
I wanted an analog scale because sometimes I just don't want to deal with apps and batteries, and other bells and whistles. This analog scale is accurate and easy to use. My whole family uses it. You do need to callibrate it before each use, but it's really easy to do and it gives me peace of mind knowing I'll get an accurate result. My husband really appreciates the extra wide platform so comfortably stand on. It provides weight in both lbs ad kgs. I compared to my weight taken at my doctor's office and it was spot on. And best of all, you never have to worry about changing batteries!
