Bought one for me and one as a gift.One the two came with the clear plastic storage tube crushed beyond use but somehow the rod was undamaged.I tossed the tiny bottle of clp, patches and brush, but kept the jags.This high quality rod combined with my choices of caliber specific brushes, patches, jags and clp does a great job of keeping my target pistols accurate and reliable.

Great cleaning kit for my 9mm pistol. The build quality is superb. Made out of metal (Brass) It will not bend or break. The handle is hefty so can easily push the rod through the barrel. The rod is also thicker than the Hoppes No9 cleaning kit. This cleaning kit will last me forever. Next purchase will be the rifle cleaning kit.

These Pro-Shot cleaning rods really are better than the coated brand and certainly much better than the multi-segmented and usually flimsy plain cleaning rods. This kit comes with three jags for different calibers, a bore brush and a patch holder. I bought a couple of extra chamber brushes to go with this kit and by so doing can also use the cleaning rod as a bore cleaner so long as I am careful. Here's a tip. Use a small rubber 'O' ring on the shaft of the cleaning rod to act as a depth gauge when using this kit a chamber cleaner.Would buy this item again in a heartbeat if ever I lost it. As sturdily built as the cleaning rod is, I can't imagine ever breaking it.

I believe your feature options are incorrect above. Thickness? Warmth? But I am very happy with this pistol cleaner.

I found I was unable to keep the centering cone in place all the time and as a result had contacted the barrel rifling edge at the crown with the SS rod. This is not the manufacturer's fault, I want to emphasize. The rod and cone design is not new. It just doesn't work FOR ME. I went back to using solid brass cleaning rods so that I don't have to worry about a SS rod scratching my SS barrel.Secondly - you are not going to use this same rod to clean the chambers in a revolver cylinder without scratching, simply because trying to get the cone in place and scrub chambers at the same time is next to impossible.FWIW I use Pro-Shot SS rods on all of my precision rifles and so do many champion shooters, but we use delrin bore guides and not a brass cone, to keep the rod centered. Good kit. Can't go wrong with pro shot. I've been using their cleaning rods for 15+ years. I still have my first one and it works great. Bought this cause I needed a second for a different location.

This is a great little pistol cleaning rod. I found it to be well constructed. Handle is free spinning. The muzzle stop is nice also. Not much to say about the brushes and jags, I already had a nice set of them, so I never used them. All in all a great product.

I orig was going to buy the cleaning rod by itself for $17 on here. But as I ve learned "look around" amazon before you buy the first thing that pops up. Found the cleaning kit with the same cleaning rod plus other assorted items for $13. Pro shot products are top quality in my opinion.
