Something Finally Worth 5 Stars!
Something Finally Worth 5 Stars! It came the next day! It was very well packaged. It went together in about 5 minutes. It started immediately! I ran it for two hours nonstop (except for five minutes to clean out the hopper once) working on a huge pile of branch trimmings and it worked perfectly. I then mulched the entire garden with my chipper’s output. It’s strong and durable, as well as light to carry. The push stick works great but most of the time the branches were self fed. Excellent safety features. I’m impressed. I can highly recommend.UPDATE!So, I'll admit that the second time I went to start up this chipper, I half expected it not to work not because of anything that happened the first time I used it, but because so much stuff out there works once and that's it.Well, I'm happy to say that not only did it start right up on Day 2, this thing is a glutton for work. I ran it for 2 non-stop hours until I ran thought a pile of sticks from trimming all the bushes in my yard and picking up the sticks from the neighbor's tree. It works great! It takes pretty big sticks (no bigger than what the instructions say) and chomps through them like they weren't even there. In fact, it loves the big ones. It like they clean it out the inside! The drier the sticks, the better. Trim off the side sticks as close to the main branch as you can so you don't have to try to twist it through the system, but if something gets stuck, the push through wand works great and lets you keep all your digits if you are. partial to them. They do help for counting to 10 without having to remove one's shoes and socks first! If you have any side sticks from the main branch, you'll find bits of small sticks in with the wood chips, but I kind of like them as they're biodegradable. Mother nature rocks! It makes its own stuff recyclable . But, if it's a dry stick, you'll end up with some great wood-like chips of a variety of small sizes to fit nicely around the garden plants better than the "mulch" from Lowes and Home Depot where the wood chips either float away or are so large you can't see the plants. In other words, I love this thing!Oh, I don't use the bag that came with the chipper for live chipping. It's a nice bag, but sharp pointy stuff tears through most every type of bag. So, I use a small Amazon box for collecting the chips and then I put the bag on to help prevent any leftover debris leaving a trail as I walk through the house to the garage or walking on the sidewalk to the garage as when my wife is home she reminds me she prefers I don't bring electric or gas-powered tools through the house. I hook the bag to the side clips and run the cord through the handles to hold it on.OH, again, the clip to hold the push-through tool doesn't hold very securely (I think). So, I put the tool in the opening in the handle. It will fall out there, too, if you turn the chipper upside down, but it stays in place during normal use and it keeps you from having to put it in your front pocket and having people ask you all day, "Are you happy to see me or is that the push-through tool that goes with the chipper?" I don't mind the questions, really. I've met a lot of nice people although the amount of drive-through and walk-through traffic in the neighborhood seems to be increasing quite a bit. Everyone wants to see my chipper and if I have the push-through tool in my pocket or on the chipper handle, I guess. I don't blame them. I love my chipper and my tool both! They both work incredibly well and result in tremendously satisfying experiences of jobs well done.

Works Great For My Purposes
Satisfaction with this woodchipper will depend greatly on expectation management. If you are looking to chip large limbs, this is not going to work, and you are not going to be happy. If you want to chip branches slightly bigger than your thumb, you will probably not be disappointed. I saw reviews that said this was load. I think that is pretty funny because you are chipping wood down to mulch; how quiet do you expect it to be? I would equate it to a blender with ice cubes. I was able to cut down a pretty sizeable branch pile in a couple of hours. I fed one or two branches at a time, depending on size. Start small and feed slightly bigger branches and you will be able to tell when you are at the limits of the machine. Once you establish that, it goes pretty fast. It helps to break off offshoots and feed in branches that are as straight as possible. Really that is because it is hard to get branches with a lot of offshoots through the feeder. This chipper is small enough that storage isn't a problem. I didn't try to use the included bag, because it is small and seemed like it was more trouble than it was worth. I just stuck a bin to catch the chips and that worked great. For the price and size of this chipper, I definitely recommend.

Maybe I'm writing this too soon, but...
...this chipper/shredder worked great for me. This review is based on using it just one day. It's too darn hot here to really give it a long workout. But wow!OK, I saw a review that said it just wouldn't start up, and obviously the writer was furious. Perfectly understandable. But all the five star reviews, and my great experience with Wen tools, convinced me to take a shot.Assembly was easy and took just a few minutes. The bag that came with it threw me off until my wife found the little elastic loops in the inside hem under the handles. Problem solved. I removed and reattached the cover to see how that worked - all good.I chopped off a bunch of branches from a cedar tree that were hanging low over my lawn. I ran an extension, plugged in the unit, and hit the power switch. Oops. Nothing. I made sure I hadn't popped either my house of the unit's circuit breaker, made sure the plug was in right at both ends, made sure the blades spun freely. Nothing helped. I felt like Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation trying to light his outdoor lights!I called the help line for Wen. A woman walked me through the possible problems. Extension cord? Check. Power outlet juice? Check, but she suggested trying a different outlet if I could. I plugged it into a 20 amp outlet on my porch. Finally, she said to make sure that the cover knob was screwed in tight. Check (spoiler - it wasn't).She said to try and sure enough. Worked fine. I don't think the problem was the extension cord or the outlet. I figure there must be a sensor that the cover knob triggers, and if it's not screwed in tight, the unit won't operate.Anyway once it was running, it chopped up the fresh cut cedar branches into a nice smooth, finely ground, aromatic green mulch that my wife rejected because she didn't want green mulch. Oh well.Anyway, I have lots of other branches that will need shredding and chipping, and the weather is supposed to ease up next week, so I'll be busy.

Perfect for mulch
I am so happy with this product. It suits all my gardening needs. It has such a fine shred I've been making my own animal bedding with it. It will even do soft materials as long as you have some sticks with it. I have had zero issues with things getting stuck. I am always very gentle and dont yank on anything. I turn it off every few mins to let it have rest. You should never run a shredder for any long period of time. I've done tonnes of material with this for a couple months now using this strategy and I've had zero issues.

Excelente funcionamiento

Power rating
They conveniently forget to mention that it needs 110V supply. You need a step up transformer. Probably this vital information is hidden intentionally, to sell in India. Be ready to fork out another Rs.10000, for a good transformer.
