This pitch pipe was exactly what I needed - used for checking pitches when I am learning a new song, and not near a piano. I ordered it because I could not find my original one (having been a state of moving over the last 15 years) and of course I found the old one a few days after the new one arrived), but that's o.k.. This pitch pipe is more than adequate and does what I need it to do, good quality.

This pitch instrument assist in obtaining the proper pitch for hymns at church. My old one (same model) wasused for approximately 30 years. I found some at a cheaper price; however, the Master Key has proven to beconsistent in quality and value.

EXCELLENT DEVICE. COMES IN IT'S OWN LITTLE BOX. THE PITCH PIPE IS SUPER EASY TO USE. I HAVE POOR EYESIGHT AND REALLY APPRECIATE THE EASY-TO-READ PAINTED SIDE (I PICKED BLACK WITH WHITE LETTERING) THE OTHER SIDE IS SHINY CHROME-PLATED, WHICH IS ALSO EMBOSSED TO INDICATE EACH TONE. I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS VALUABLE TOOL FOR MUSICIANS.

For any note from E flat to the low C it's impossible to get a good tone. I tried blowing softly, hard, and harder, and if you can get a tone, it will waver or be out of pitch completely. I don't consider that usable and should have listened to the negative reviews, which were pretty spot on to what I'm experiencing. I was able to return it for a refund though, thanks to Amazon.

It works reliably and well, easy to disassemble if you ever need to. I ordered this one as a gift. I own an identical one that I've had for a long time (20 years?). Never had a problem with it. The case is plastic and several years ago one of the tabs on the back (part of the hinge mechanism) broke off (I think I dropped it), so I have to be more careful opening and closing it now.

A kinsman of mine leads singing at his religious church. I remember seeing these pipes back when I was a child at church. So I gave him one for Xmas. It was more than a surprise - he was amazed that I was able to get his something that actually fit his personality. Next year maybe an old Scottish song book. But this item is a fine item - very reasonably priced. Actually it is quite inexpensive if you compare at music stores. A great buy.

It came on the date it said to be here and it is amazing! This is just beautiful! The nice little box it comes with and the look is just amazing! I could easily mistake this for something around 80. I played each note with the piano keys and it is tuned perfectly! I'm a lead in the school musical and not only does this help me have my note for the start of songs but also to help my clients in my studio if I don't know the note myself. It's embarrassing having to pull out my piano app on my iPhone. This pitch pipe makes it seem all more professional when I try to find a pitch. I am deff going to buy more if this one ever breaks or I lose it. The color is amazing and it looks so classy. Love it! Really recommend it! There was never a doubt and this is one of the best investments ever!!!!! Must buy!

I liked the case and the look of the instrument itself, but I could not get a consistent and accurate pitch from the low C, D, and E. There was a lot of resistance and some shrill squeaking instead. My experience was that the higher the note, the clearer the pitch. I will be trying another brand of pitch pipe.
