Tamiya extra thin model cement is used to glue together plastic model kits that use polystyrene plastic. The extra thin formula allows the modeler to glue together small pieces that require pinpoint accuracy and finesse. Review: Must have for plastic minis - This is THE go-to plastic glue for Warhammer. Tamiya in general, is the best when it comes to hobby and model supplies. The brush applicator works well, and the glue itself does an excellent job of flowing into the joints and providing a secure connection. You may have to hold some heavier parts together for a few second a ensure bonding, but this is minimal gripe. Review: Very useful - Nice product. Good with vacuform models because this seeps into gaps. Small brush for precise applications. There was a little leakage from bottle when I received it but this is understandable. Not much seeped out.

Best model cement
Tamiya extra thin cement is in my opinion the best there is. Out of all the hobby cements this is the cleanest and easiest to work with it will have a moderate fume so use in a well ventilated area. Last a long time a very good value.

Necessity if you build plastic models
I remember when I was a kid in the mid 90's I got a plastic model that stated it needed cement glue. I didn't know but then that there are actual a few types of them on the marker. At that time I had bought the Testors cement glue and let me tell ya, I never built a model again until I was 30 and got into Gunpla. This stuff works really well. Since it's prethinned you really don't have to worry much on cleaning it up as you would the regular cement glue. This stuff is also perfect if you wish to remove a seam line anywhere on your kit. You gotta do is lay some of it on one side of the part, snap the part your glued to the over part, hold it together firmly for 10 seconds, and then wait till it's full dry (a couple minutes) then place some cement onto the seam line and let that dry. Once its fully dryed use a nail block or sand paper and sand the seam line and boom it's like it was never there. Only reason I am giving this a 4 out of 5 is because 1. Too many ppl on here put 5/5 for every product they buy and it's not true. 2. While this is perfect for seam lines and melting two parts together to create a bond this stuff work won't on let's say a plastic peg that goes into the hole of another part that snaps off. Using this to attach that broken peg won't work. This type of glue needs surface area to create a strong bond. When I break a peg, either I'll fabricate a new one or il epoxy it and let that dry for a day or two. Nothing beats epoxy.

The standard for a reason
What can I say its Tamyia extra thin. ONLY FOR PLASTIC MODELS. It wont work at all on resin or metal, but plastic you cant go wrong. I've got three bottles laying around. 2 for deferent kinds of sprue goo ( putting bits of plastic in the bottle to melt for filling gaps) It works by actually melting the plastic so the bond is forever. You get way more that GW for half the price.

Probably not gonna use another type of glue
I really like this glass bottle of sticky, stinky water. It feels like all squeezable applicators get gunked up, melted, or glazed in their own supply before I use half of what's in the bottle. But this stuff applies easily, dries relatively fast, and holds strong.

Perfect for miniature assembly, at first the bristles can seem a little bit small, but that quickly becomes a non-issue you quickly forget. Also a tip for those interested in warhammer, ny putting in some spare sprue you can make a thick version the glue that blend out all mold lines.
