Source Naturals Serrapeptase - Delayed Release Enzyme - 120 Vegetarian Capsules

I am taking this for a longterm hamstring tear-injury that I have had the entire year.that is getting better but incredibly slowly. I have an ulcer, so ***WARNING** for those with GI issues, I would suggest having a spoonful of kefir when it burns too much. I find that the kefir does not interfere with the efficacy of this. I make my own kefir btw, with grains I was able to get for free (if you're interested check facebook for a group for free kefir grains). That said, it is the first day I'm taking this. For me, this started working right away. I opened it and drank it with water immediately after shopping with my husband. I am not even able to drive because of this horrible ongoing hamstring injury aka high hamstring tendinopathy, long-term hamstring injury, etc. I was in agony when I got home. Then I took Serrapeptase, and I felt a ton of relief. I just bought it locally in my town too, and the smallest bottle because one never knows if supplements work or not. This does. Before finding this (by googling, going to curezone, etc) I was in agony. One thing that did help was cola made with sugar, not HFCS. I believe that also works due to alkalizing my body but not sure. OTOH, I'd rather NOT be drinking 3 colas a day! I'm hoping it will work on my plantar fasciitis & heelspurs as well. I am hoping! I will hopefully get back to this post in a few months and update you with my progress. Again, stomach disorders - have spoonfuls of kefir with it! UPDATE 8/5/2015 (the 7/31/2015 update is in the comments section): First I want to talk about SIDE EFFECTS. These are not bad but this makes you feel really heated up & sweating profusely when I take this - especially when I take one, then wait, then another, etc. I am sometimes taking this 10x or more a day. Another SIDE EFFECT could be that your stomach will burn, again, if you have ulcers, please drink either the following when things burn: kefir, bulgarian buttermilk, filmjolk. Those things will help you with the burn if you feel this. And it does not seem to affect Serrapeptase. Secondly, I am taking this for my TORN HAMSTRING, which goes from the sitz bones, down to the knee & sometimes beyond to my foot, on my backside. I have somewhat of a cessation of grade 10 pain. Right now it's about a 2-3-4 in pain. I am better, much better than I was before I started taking this. I still have bad times with this torn hamstring. I will update again to let you know how I am. UPDATE: 8/9/2015: The hamstring tear is starting to get better...I am feeling less and less pain from it.

I purchased a couple of these for myself and my brother for carpal tunnel syndrome. I had gone through a three month supply and ran out and the numbness and pain came back gang busters. It had worked so well, I thought I was cured. My brother had gone to a pain doctor for his CT and they did the nerve conduction test on him (which is when they apply shocks to test the nerves). They did a procedure on both his wrists injecting medication into the wrist and the CT symptoms went away-for a year. Then they came back. He didn't want to do the NCT again so I got him some Serrapeptace. It has been working well for him too. Pain and numbness has gone away for both of us. Two things-it takes about a month of use before you feel a significant difference but most symptoms for CT go away while you continue use. You can substitute ibuprofen until the Serrapeptace kicks in. It's not good for your liver to take a lot of ibuprofen on a regular basis but the Serrapeptace is not toxic for your liver which is why I started using it-I wanted an anti-inflammatory that was safe for my liver. Second, you have to wear the wrist braces to bed. Using only one or the other won't work-you have to do both. Serrapeptace is an enzyme that digests dead tissue. I wonder if I used it for 2 or 3 years if it would reverse this condition but I won't know unless I try it.

If you didn’t know this about serrapeptase, it removes scar tissue in the body. We started using it over 10 years ago, and I could actually feel it working . I have had multiple surgeries throughout my life and so it continues to have a great value in our home. If you haven’t heard of this , do your research. If you get up in the morning with sinuses all stuffy like I do, you absolutely must try this! It’s amazing how quickly I’m breathing with no issue. Try it!

I found that this formulation of Serrapeptase is effective for me in the same fashion as the "Dr.'s Best" variant, which I tried before and am currently trying again now. There are some key differences though: 1. It seems as this formulation is slightly weaker than the similar rated Dr. Best 120,000 SPU's. To get the equivalent effect I had to use 3 pills. (but the Source bottle calls for 2 pills for 120,000 units, which is equal to 1 Dr.'s Best pill of 120,000 SPU) 2. I had ZERO negative side effects at the 3 pill dosage- with Dr.'s Best I get stomach cramping & flatulence/gas. I get neither of those things with the Source Naturals, yet the positive benefits. (relief of minor arthritis & sinus drainage/reduction of inflammation and a general reduction of my allergy symptoms) So, while the cost is higher than Dr.'s Best to get the same benefits- it actually is worth it to me because of the zero negative side effects in my case.

Its only been two days since I started taking this product at low doses...only one in the morning...and there are a few things I hoped it would do; one of which is reducing some inflamation in my shoulder which it seems to be doing. But I didn't expect plaque would fall off my teeth ! Yeah, I'm sheduled for a regular 6 month cleaning in 2 weeks and there is this little spot in between two bottom front teeth that always fills up with cementum and usually doesn't come out except when the hygenist puts the sonic on it...well it just fell out on its own and I figure it was these enzymes that loosened the adhesion because the rest of my teeth are cleaner than they were a couple days ago. I may take this stuff in and show the doc but its pretty amazing. Also the shoulder is feeling better, got a bit more range of motion back in it. Like I say its only been two days but I have been getting something like bursitis in my shoulder previous 2 months, maybe from drinking whey protein shakes in the morning but not doing alot of exercise just normal with alot of driving for job. Anyway I have high hopes for this product, I need it to do some things for me, but cleaning my teeth was unexpected.

I was in debilitating pain from a long ago broken ankle, bunions, plantar fasciitis and a hematoma. And this weird pain thst would spiral through my arms and legs, typically settling into my knees and elbows. Geez. I was in constant pain and quite worried. I did NOT want to take a pharmaceutical. I did research for quite awhile and found serrapeptase. I can now hike, ski and play again! In fact, I enjoy it more and do it more than ever. I have told several friends about it and the ones that took my advice are quite amazed. (There have been a few that found it did not help them) This brand is good. I have to take 250,000 every morning. Then later if needed in a smaller dose. It was about week after starting that one morning I woke up with literally no pain. I walked around the house, amazed. I’d been in pain for so long. I have been taking it for about a year now. Occasionally, I will skip a day or two here and there. I consider it a miracle.

I got it to see if it would help after covid parosmia & my 2nd milder covid I purchased it finally. but I also thought I have inflammation most likely get it, see if I notice any differences. I never notice if supplements work or not. Except once. Magnesium glyxinate it lessened my tourettes so Especially if im taking others along w it how am I supposed to know which supplement is doing what? My parosmia didnt go away. But I did notice at 1st taking it before shower etc. Empty stomach less pain in back possibly that or cause I didnt do any yard work to notice if it was that or yard work issues. See what I mean. How does anyone know when it's helping & when its not. Just only take 1 supplement at a time for a month? I dont get it. I also got it cause someone said it got rid of cysts. I have a fatty lump in my underarm for last 3yrs & it didnt do anything so maybe its just fat on one side?!
