Did not work straight out of box
The media could not be loaded. So i bought this because my 12 year old son said to,he is a really big fan of speakers but he opens the box, turned it on, then connected it to his phone and it had an update instantly on the app so he did it then it just shut off we thought it needed charging. Plugged it in and let it charge for about 30 minutes then tried it again, it turned on did the normal sound's then it just shut so we tried it again and again , it sill sound's work. So we called amazon and they said we would definitely get one but they said that we had to wait till Saturday (today) and amazon didn't call so I called them, and we had a whole argument then I just said forget it and we got a refund. The good thing is, is that if another refurbished speaker comes back in stock we will get another speaker for free. We bought it for £109, I don't know if it was a faulty one or it's user error.

Love it
Love the loudness, the thumping bass and light show. Battery life is superb. I've owned other speakers in similar price range like xtreme 3 and stormbox but this one stands out and my go to speaker as its lightweight, usb c charging, nice light show and superb battery life. Sound wise its on par if not better to xtreme 3.

Couldn’t cope with complex beats
I was really excited to hear this as a loyal Anker customer for many years. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The music wasn’t as loud as expected and the bass was hit and miss. In fact when I played ‘Sympathy is a knife’ the sound faded out in parts like as though it just couldn’t cope. I played the song a few times incase it was an interference issue but it was just that song and its complexities. I sent the product back as I expected much more at this price.
