Ok for children.

My 2 year old loves taking pictures on my phone and so after a quick browse I came across this little camera, I wasnt expecting much to be honest but I was quite surprised when it came as to how well it works, the pictures are clear, easy to use and my little girl loves it

This would be ideal for a first camera for kids. It claims to be 48mp with a 1080p video recording. While it certainly can record videos and take pictures, it’s nothing amazing. I doubt that the video recordings are 1080p (closer to 320p by the looks of things), I imagine this is down to the poor lens.However, it has a really cute design and comes with a little unicorn rubber case attached. It also seems to be well-built and robust, so it should withstand being dropped a few times.I also really like the accessories it comes with, a strap a TF (MicroSD) card the charging cable and a USB card reader where you can pop the MIcroSD card in and plug it into your PC so you can transfer images. They have thought of everything with this. It would be perfect for that little photographer in your life.★★★★☆ - Good

Review of ##Mgaolo Kids Camera Toys,Children Digital Camera Gift with HD Video for Girls Boys ##This is a great product that has been aimed at the very young.It is great for children to learn and enjoy photography without having to use a mobile phone.It takes good photos that can be viewed on the internal screen but the memory card can be removed if prints are required.The video function is basic but more than adequate for this level of experience.The operation is straightforward which is a consideration for small children.It comes well presented and would be a welcome gift.The unit has a few built in basic games which are fine for use on a journey or for a quiet moment in the house.A great example of this type of product.

I’m so impressed with this camera!It functions well as a normal digital camera because it takes photos at a hefty 48mp resolution and videos at 1080p (HD). It also has a x8 zoom and digital stabilisation. Battery life is excellent and I have been getting ages between charges (the manufacturer claims 2-3hrs), so full marks there too. The only reason this is a ‘kids’ camera is because of the cute design and very sturdy build quality, because it’s easily good enough for anyone’s casual snaps.There are lots of settings that add funky ‘scenes’ to your pictures too. It’s also easy and intuitive to use.All the above more than justifies the price tag but then this little beauty also produces instant prints (in black and white) from a roll of magic paper (I assume it mist be magic). This really sets this camera aside because it’s so quick and simple to do. The resolution of the instant prints is fairly low, but it’s delightful nonetheless, and my ten year old and her pals went nuts over this at a recent sleep over.The roll of paper lasts for ages and there is a spare roll supplied.My 15 year old daughter is eyeing this up, as it’s quirky enough for the unicorn to pass as ironic in the hands of a teenager I think.Absolutely brilliant camera!

This was bought as a birthday present and the charger or camera is faulty as it won't charge. A disappointing children's birthday gift!
