Plug and play Bluetooth adapter USB that works great for my Windows PC that was unequipped with Bluetooth. No need to install anything. Connection and performance is satisfactory. Device is compact and works for me.

Took a while, but got it working!

I enjoy listening to music on my BOSE Revolve Soundlink II speakers but the built in Bluetooth on my Windows 11 PC was spotty at best and the sound was constantly cutting in and out ... In steps this brilliant little 5.4 Bluetooth adapter. Because my PC already had built in Bluetooth, I had to disable the existing adapter via Device Manager before plugging in the new adapter. Once I did this and plugged in the new adapter, it did not recognize my devices right away which was very frustrating then I remembered I should probably shut down and restart my computer and try again. Voila! I was able to connect to my speakers and now I can listen to music throughout my house with no signal interruptions. I have not tested the range to see just how far it goes but I can say without a doubt that it is 100% better than the built-in functionality.

Working quite well and the extra range over a smaller form factor adapter is very useful. I'm using on my Tower PC for a Shokz Headset. Great combination as I never felt the need for Bluetooth on my PC before and the sound of the combination is amazing. I'm getting between 30 to 40 feet even through walls at my home and remember that range is affected by the headset as much as by the receiving station.

This product was ok. But for what I wanted it for I needed a better range. But granddaughtner is using it .

Yaaay! Now I can go anywhere in my home with my BT headphones with no connection loss or interference. Perfect. The internal BT adapter in my mini pc succumbed to terrible rf interference.

So long story short my 2019 msi gaming laptop had its Bluetooth chip take a crap an this fix it 100% an better. Whole story. My gaming laptop that I stream from always had a issue with Bluetooth working right for 3 years. I had enough an needed to fix it. So I ended up buying this Bluetooth adapter that is just plug in an disable the other Bluetooth that is build into my laptop. The instructions on the paper work is very clear on how to go into settings to disable it so the USB adapter can power on an work. The strength difference between my build in Bluetooth in my laptop vs the adapter is alot better. I am able to move around now again like when I did get my laptop with my Bluetooth headset not breaking in an out. The distance I had before woth the Bluetooth that built into my laptop was 4 feet at a angle 2feet dead straight looking at it. This does not give the 30+feet it says but it is 27 feet with 2 walls between. I would %100 recommend this if u have a issue with burned out Bluetooth chip or breaking in an out.

It says USB 2.0 (that it will work with USB 3.0), but the USB type A connector is really USB 1.1 (even has a black connector on the inside of the USB type A connector). Chip is RTL8761B. And does appear support Bluetooth 5.4 standards. The chip supports BLE protocols, it does not do BLE Audio. Device does support SBS, AAC, and only Aptx audio codic. Unable to confirm ldac codic. Range is increased, but unable to confirm large range given by seller. What I can say is that using SBS audio codic, previous Bluetooth dongles would give me a range of 16 feet, this dongle can easily double that. Overall, a good buy, using RealTek chip, and does give a better range then dongles not using an antenna.
