My old screen would have the ghost touch and would randomly select buttons and scroll through stations randomly, especially when it got above 80°F outside in my 2018 GMC Canyon. This product was well packaged when receiving it and after an hour of swapping screens out, I have had no issues with it yet. It has been three days since installing it with it being above 90°F outside and I have no ghost touch yet. Good quality and the display is better than the OME.

First use after replacement and everything is smooth! Took me an hour total to replace. Touch works perfect and fast. Hoping the ghost touching is gone now. Time will tell! I’ll update later. Dealer wanted $1,100!Taking the old digitizer off the display was a bit tricky (see pics). Basically got a butter life under it and had to break it in a few places, then I could peel it off the old sticky tape. Putting the new one on was easy.

I'm officially 24 hours into installing this replacement screen in my 2017 Silverado and not only is it working and I have my wonderful touchscreen back in action but I thought it was important to mention that when I had both screens out and next to each other that it was the same manufacturer and model # that came with the stock screen. I'm hoping I don't have to edit this review anytime soon but I'm confident in this lasting for years to come. Do yourself the favor and just spend the extra money and buy the LCD along with the digitizer. I couldn't imagine replacing just the glass

The install went fast and easy. So far all the ghosting of the old screen is gone. I found some tools on Amazon that greatly helped removing the parts that had to be removed to get access to tje screen.

This screen includes the touch panel and the LED screen. This is an exact replacement and works perfectly.

Installation was really simple. Suggest watching a youtube video. Video showed that the a/c vents need to be removed in order to remove old unit. Really simple to do..Installation took less than an hour. Perfect fit. Everything works and hopefully the ghosting has been exorcised. Time will tell.

If your My Link radio is ghost switching channels and has a mind of its own, don't hesitate to get this screen. I was intimidated but watched the video made it so easy to uninstall then reinstall all at a great price
