I've gotten to that age when i have to decide if bending to get something is worth it or not. My wife got this for me, and I really do like it. Folds easily for storage and is well made. I've used it quite a bit and would recommend it.

This reaching tool is very well made and grips items extremely well.I have bought and broken MANY reaching tools like this but this one stands out above all others for grip strength, well made joints, rubberized portion where your hand grips the tool and the fasteners used to open the tool are super well made and use metal locking loops on opposing extensions for extra stability and strength (a small detail but it makes a HUGE difference in the strength of the joints, whereas all the others I had were simply cheap plastic, NOT this one)!I am purchasing several more of these to keep in various places of the house and especially in our storage shed which has high shelves I can't reach.BEST REACHING TOOL I HAVE EVER HAD!!The 44inch reach is wonderful.I have shown a cable remote with the folded picture for size comparison. It extends fully locked at 44 inches but is still sturdy and holds a can of vegetable easily! Love this!BEYOND 5 STAR RATING!!

I had eye surgery, so I was not able to bend over to pick things up off the floor for a few weeks. This grabber was handy as I frequently drop things due to my essential tremor.

I liked it, except it was too long. It made it extremely difficult to use at an angle. It did make pick up easier. I don't think it's accurate about how much weight it can hold and pick up. I had a 16 oz lotion that fell and I tried to grab it with this. It didn't feel sturdy enough. Even though the grabber opened wide it offered no support on grabbing wide items. They wouldn't pick up or just fall right out. I do plan to reorder another one just shorter.

I use these when I'm mowing my 5 acre yard. They help to pick up sticks, unclog the mower, and knock down any spider webs during the mowing. They are very strong and I am able to pick up/move fairly heavy branches and long enough that I don't have to lean very much to reach the ground. They can also have a fairly fine grasp as I'm able to grab just a few blades of grass if needed. If these ever fail I will purchase them again.

Well built and has a good grip, both in pressure and surface traction of the claw. Collapses down for easy storage.

Nice length. Long enough to reach the ground but doesn't stay pinched enough. It springs open when asked to pick something up like a cell phone. Didn't get a grabber to grab tissue paper.

I wasn't sure what I was buying until I opened the packaging and was immediately impressed with the way it folds and unfolds. The way that it locks into place and is much stronger than expected. It also has a good grip and the handle feels good in my hand. The squeeze trigger is strong and doesn't cause hand pains after using continuously. It's light weight and easy to carry and easy to store. It is a much higher quality than I expected for the price. Highly recommended.
