It's just a small refillable fuel tank for your camp stove, I got mine for a mini lantern to use on my boat and camping. I dont have the lantern yet so I can't give a performance review.

I've been waiting a generation for this! Amazing quality product. I have been refilling the Butane cartridges for camping stoves like so many others, but it's a questionable process, and of course the small cartridge is not DESIGNED to be refilled, we all know this. It's nice that the thing seems well-made, heavy precision product. The GOOD SURPRISE is that it fills in an easy positive way straight from the ordinary Butane cylinder that you put in portable stoves. I buy those in cases and they are much cheaper! Anyway, if you have a little scale it's too easy, you just invert the large disposable cylinder and put its snoot into the center of your new friend, and push a little. If you put the smallest folding titanium stove burner on there you can almost put the whole business in your pocket! And... HAVE YOU SEEN the TINY version of this? Holds like 15 Grams of Butane. It is SO CUTE and works beautifully, and will probably help you make twenty or thirty cups of coffee say, or have a weekend outing or a road-trip. It's amazing.

While I agree that these are not "ultra light" they are ultra durable. In fact I liked them so much that I purchase six one in each size and color.
