This heating pad warms up very quickly. There is a 2-foot cord from the heating pad to the controls and another 6 feet of cord from the controls to the plug. I read that it helps to put a heating pad on your neck and an ice pack on your forehead when you have a migraine. I tried this with something I already had at home that required me to heat it in a microwave. It was a square pad, and it was very difficult to hold it on my neck with one hand while I balanced an ice pack on my forehead with the other hand. It did help the migraine, but I’m so happy to have this weighted heating pad that I can plug in and adjust the temperature. Because the heating pad is slightly weighted and made to go around a neck and back, it just rests comfortably on my neck without having to hold it in place. The other nice thing is that with the former awkward pad, after I heated it in the microwave, it cooled off quickly. With this heating pad, you can adjust the temperature higher or lower very easily to keep it at just the right temperature. In addition, there is a timer on the controls that allows you to set the heating pad for a specific amount of time if you wish.The ergonomics of this heating pad are well thought out, and it is put together well. Recommended!

Most noteworthy to me about this heating pad is first of all how readily it fits into place around my neck, so that the main portion of it drapes over my upper back. It is certainly not uncommon for me to desire some form of heat therapy to this particular region of my body, and the design of this heating pad accommodates reaching the spot superbly. The fact that it is weighted not only helps to keep it in place, but also just feels good. The maximum temperature to set it to is 158°F. I actually wish it could go higher, because while it does feel very warm on my skin at this temperature, a little more heat would feel even better. Having said this, this is still an easy to use, “feels good“ thing for me to have handy. The remote control is lightweight and intuitive. As with all heating pads that plug in directly to an outlet, exposure to EMF is a concern, and as such I naturally limit my usage time accordingly.

This heating pad works very well and lives up to the positive remarks. It fit comfortably on my neck with the arms coming down the front. Note that if you are a larger person this will cover a smaller area. It provides a nice heat up quite quickly to the 110 degree level.I've used this several times starting with 10 minutes and worked up to an hour. There is nothing negative about this pad. Very worth purchasing for neck pain.

I wanted this Weighted Neck Heating Pad precisely because it's weighted. Most of the weight is in the arms that come down over your shoulders, not in the neck area. This was a small disappointment but is probably necessary because of the heating apparatus. The pad fits reasonably well and the arms hold it in place. It also works on similarly shaped body parts such as wrist or thigh. Keep in mind that the people in the images are slender and this will fit differently on larger people.The pad's fabric is soft, the cord is a sensible length, it heats up quickly, and it's easy to set the time and temperature. I'm not sure the features justify its $39.99 price but it works as intended and does it well.

This is great for a stiff neck! The weight is nice and makes the heat feel like it penetrates deeper than it would unweighted, providing more relief.

This neck heating pad is so soft and cozy. I like the Weight of this heating pad, it lays nicely all around your neck. It stays in place on the lower neck back. The way it is made it will fit different neck sizes. While I am talking about the way it is made, you can see the quality of the material and sewing.It has digital, adjustable time and temperature.It has a long cord to reach plugins and the controller is easy to use. It is simply well done.My husband and I have both been using it, looks like we will have to buy another!

I have used this for two days now, once for an hour, once for 30 minutes.It is very comfortable (much more so than any other neck wrap I have tried), and stays in place for almost the entire time without re-arranging/adjusting.It does provide some temporary relief, easing of neck tension pain.I wish it came in other colors (a silly 'complaint', but I am one of the few people who is not a fan of blue, and a more neutral color or green color would please me so much more).I will continue to use this daily and hope it continues to provide relief. Very pleased so far.

This heats up quickly. Temperature rises about 1 degree per second until about 110, then it slows down. To me, this is fine and fast enough. Heating area is pretty much limited to the back of your neck and a little bit of the shoulder. The wrap is very long, so I am figuring that it can or may be designed to go on the outside of clothing if that is what you prefer. Weight of the pad is great... the weighted nature of this pad is the best feature. Feels very comfortable. Do keep in mind that this is relatively small and target for the neck. The controller is almost bigger than the pad, but that is ok. Wish there was an option to power this with a power bank, but I guess if that was the case, the heat intensity would be diminished.
