Soft fusible embroidery backing for children's clothing.
Review for New Brothread Soft & Cozy Embroidery Stitch Cover 12" x 10 Yd Fusible Light Weight Stabilizer Covering Scratchy Stitches. You apply this covering using an iron. It goes on the back of finished embroidery, creating a barrier between the (potentially scratchy) embroidery and the skin. This covering is best used on children's clothing.New Brothread has nice embroidery supplies, and this one is their latest offering. It feels soft and it fuses easily.Just be aware that most fusible soft backings, like this one, don't last through the dryer. The dryer heat will release the fusible, allowing the backing to eventually fall off of the garment. If you want the backing to stay in place for the life of the garment, I suggest slipping the backing under your embroidery design as the last step. Then run an outline stitch around the embroidery design to secure the backing. Remove the garment from the hoop, and trim and fuse the backing as you normally would. This extra step will keep the backing in place, even if washing and drying loosen the fusible.

Nice
I used it for a few small things on a pair of pants and it did just fine. I didn't need stabilizer just wanted something to cover the stitches. Fused just fine but I did also add a few dots of glue on the edges. The center hasn't come loose tho so its holding great. These are my work pants (retail) and I wear em nearly every day. It's getting a lot of wear and still goin strong basically.

Sheer Coverage of scratchy threads
I love that this applies easily and doesn't significantly change the hand of the fabric. It is also stretchy and will work for knits as well as woven. I intend to buy the white product as well.

Works well and it’s soft.
I love the New Brothread embroidery thread so I thought I’d try their brand of stitch cover. I’m very glad I did. It’s less expensive than other brands because you get a full 10 yard roll which is 12” high. The back side of machine embroidery designs can be rough and scratchy on your skin. I cut a piece of this cover slightly larger than the embroidery, then I iron it on the inside of the shirt, covering the embroidery. It’s easy to tell which way it goes because you can feel the glue beads. The cover is soft and feels good on the skin. I ordered the cover in black which blends well on dark colored shirts. The cover is thin so it doesn’t make lines on the front of the shirt. I will definitely order this again.

Effectively covers the rough side of stitching
After running some practice stitch outs of a design I digitized, I tested this cover up on the back of the fabric. It adheres well with the press of a regular iron - I gave it 10 second presses on each area. At about 12 inches wide, it can be cut to a variety of sizes, and allows one-piece coverage for larger stitching areas. There's a degree of softness - it's not rough or irritating to the skin, but it's not furry soft (like fleece cover up) either. It's definitely soft enough to wear against the skin all day, and it will prevent the embroidery stitching from scratching the skin. One of the features I like best is that it's thin, so it's a great cover up to use on embroidered summer apparel. I will get more of this cover up when this roll runs out.

Easy to use
The intent of this fuzible stabilizer is to cover up scratchy threads or rough fabric areas. It's basically an iron-on liner. I personally use liner materials for long term use of larger areas, but this will come in handy when I embroider a design that needs to be covered on the inside. Some of my gifts go to people with very sensitive skin and this will give them to option to have a great design and still be comfortable wearing it. I would suppose you could also use this as a regular stabilizer for very thin fabrics, too. It is very thin and soft, so I wouldn't recommend using it for daily stabilizer uses.

Works great!
I machine embroider lots of tee-shirts. Using this fusible stabilizer on the inside of the shirt to cover the embroidery stitches prevents the stitches from being uncomfortable and itchy. Easy to apply and stays on through washes/drying. New brothread is a brand I trust, and like their other products, this one does a great job.

Product is very thin and soft, result is smooth
I got this because my grandson is very sensitive and does not like the feel of embroideries against his skin (on his T-shirts). Embroideries with lots of thread changes result in lots of tie-offs on the back side, and can be irritating to skin. This product is very thin. The rough side is the adhesive side. Make sure that side is down before you iron it! It stuck on very well with the iron and a pressing sheet. The result is very smooth. Excellent product.
