This is an amazing combo - it has one flaw.
This is like unbelievable as to how functional and usable this is in 2024. Windows 10 works flawlessly for the general use.Virtualisation works amazing - so this is a great option for home server. (Albeit at 8 times more power consumption than RPi 5) It feels like everything in the motherboard is upgraded to new age while keeping the chipset old. NVMe drives give higher speeds than SATA and the BIOS has a lot of featuresFeels like this is a good board for industrial use or for digital signage.You’d need to add USB3 or Gigabit LAN as a PCIE card if you want faster I/O from your computer to rest of world. I could easily saturate gigabit lan using a PCIe gigabit LAN card.But it has one flaw - for some reason the BIOS forces the CPU to constantly turbo at 3.4 GHz by forcing CPU temp to show 255C. (Inside Windows OS the temp reported is accurate though.) but due to this issue, CPU fans always run at 100%. Additionally no fan headers report RPM of fan.All drivers in all OS I tried (windows XP, 7, 8 and 10) does not fix this issue. There is no BIOS update too.For me this was a deal breaker and hence returned. You may well be able to ignore this issue or attach a separate fan controller.
