The description says it comes with 12 barrettes. Mine came with only one pair of barrettes, the glitter star ones. I didn't not receive the two pairs of rainbow star barrettes or the crowns, butterflies, or hearts.The stars on the barrettes are made of stiff felt that is covered in glued-on glitter. It's the large kind of glitter, though, and it's glued on well; it isn't the kind that comes off and makes a mess everywhere. That had been a concern of mine, so I'm glad to see it isn't the messy kind of glitter.The headband are covered in soft fabric. The bows are glued onto the headband instead of sewn. They're glued by a ribbon that is wrapped around the headband and the middle of the bow. Since it's wrapped like that, maybe the bow won't come unglued? I'm always worried about glued-together hair accessories on a niece as active as mine.The ponytail holders are a bit disappointing because of the glue. The bows are attached by gluing a ribbon around the ponytail holder and the bow. This means that when you put the bow in your niece's hair (or daughter's/sister's/whoever's hair), you have to be precise about putting the bows on, because the bows will NOT slide side to side to position the bows after putting the ponytail holders in hair. If you don't get it on straight there's no way to fix it without undoing the ponytail and starting over.The tiny plastic butterfly-shaped clips are made of very thin plastic. They open and close okay, and the springs are tight. I don't know how long they'll hold up, though, with such thin plastic.If you aren't shorted on barrettes like I was, I think it's worth the current $10 price. Even considering the glue and the cheap plastic, as long as the glue holds up, it's a good deal. Just make sure you get everything it's supposed to include.

These hair accessories are great for girls of all ages, not just toddlers. I took some pictures next to a quarter to show a size reference. The decorations on the clips are larger than average. The clips themselves are standard size. I like that the clips face each other rather than go in the same direction, which is a pet peeve I have with other clips I’ve tried. If they are in the same direction, one clip will be backwards when worn on both sides of the head. If they face each other, there is one for each side. The butterflies are cute from all sides. The bright rainbow colors are cheerful and fun. Everything is well made, and there are no problems with visible glue. These are all suitable for all types of hair, including fine hair.

This set is decent quality and it comes with a lot for the price. It’s comfortable and the size fits a 6 year old. I would say the headbands don’t stay up. Good amount of colors and variety to choose from

This set includes tons of fun hair accessories, but a lot of them seem like they would only be good for one or two uses. My 3 year old was most attracted to the butterfly clips, but within 15 minutes of putting them in her hair, she had them out, and I noticed the small spring and bolt holding it together was slipping out of two of the four clips. I was able to get them shoved back in, but as soon as you open and close the clip they start to work their way back out again. The headbands are flimsy, and the decorations glued to the flat hair clips were already starting to pull away from the clip after one use. Given th enlarge quantity of items in this set, it could last awhile, but do not expect multiple uses out of each item.

Also comes with headbands, alligator clips, and butterfly claw clips. This one box is an affordable price and comes with enough hair accessories to match various outfits for both casual and party wear.The clips all seem to be durable enough to last a while and the headbands are light but comfortable.
