Our White Gloss Aluminum Mini Blinds have .008 Gauge 1" slats that are made out of heat treated painted aluminum that is warp-resistant and long lasting. These blinds come with an optional 2-slat valance to cover the front of the headrail and mounting brackets. MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS: Please do not use the measurements of a blind that you will have replaced. Instead, please see our photos on this Amazon page. Our blinds are recommended for window casings that are at least 1-3/8" deep because if less than that, the blinds will protrude and you will be able to see the metal installation brackets from a side angle (VALANCES DO NOT COME WITH CORNER SIDE PIECES.)
