Don’t fall for the hype
Got one to try, as per headline don’t believe the hype. The most overhyped and overpriced camera on the market. The sensor is pretty OK and high megapixels is good for cropping.Colours are nice enough. But my, the autofocus is absolutely abysmal, so bad that it regularly misses focus. Compared to my Sony camera it makes using the camera a very poor proposition.Give the camera to someone else to take a photo, and you will have a 25% chance of a blurred photo, with them not knowing that the joystick needs adjusting etc to get it in focus.I even turned off continual autofocus and had it on single shot myself to get more reliability.I am an experienced camera operator with a YouTube channel that is mildly popular (I can only do about a dozen videos for it a year due to work commitments) with a few million views. It’s a £900 camera, overhyped and it seems that Fuji are great at getting influencers and YouTubers to promote their products and limit supply. Genius marketing. Ask yourself why a camera made in China can hardly be bought anywhere and is supply being held back / limited to keep FOMO going?
