We've bought this product before without any problems. However, this time the grinder was just slightly too big. When attempting to remove the grinder after use it became stuck in the machine. After much struggle, the grinder finally came out - broken. I will now have to resort to the old grinder that has tape on the outside to cover the hole from the blade or use a manual grinder. Very disappointed.

Didn't grind at all. Out of the coffee maker you could spend the blades of one place in the unit it did not grind any beans.

It didn’t fit my cuisinart grind & brew that was a couple years old. I just bought the same coffee pot new and it doesn’t fit that either. Too late to return. Bought the top piece separately -same thing.

Though specified for my model, it will not seat on the shaft. Ordered a second time in case it was a fluke. Sent that one back as well. Very frustrating.

On the second attempt, I got one that works. First had a locked shaft which kinda defeats its purpose. Second one works but is very difficult to remove after grinding. I can remove it to clean but not easily. Still, it does grind beans and was available.

Not an exact fit for this model number

I received the new grinder wanting to replace a older model. IT was evident from the moment I tried to insert it into the machine the drive shaft did not fit at all. It was super tight, it felt like it would break either the shaft or the replacement part when i was trying to remove it. Might work on newer machines but does not work on the DCC-590PC.
