This book has many many great photos with excellent descriptions! It is a valuable addition to any sewing collectors library.

The photos in this book are very good, as are the descriptions of each item. The value guide is old (2000?) but it's still a great resource for price ranges. Look on Internet selling sites for current values. This book is a good addition to a collector's library. If you're new to collecting, look elsewhere for a book that has more details and history.

A great book on old time sewing and needlework items along with pictures and information on these items. A great reference.

Bought for a seamstress and she loves it so defiantly worth it

This one was a gift for my Mom. But I looked through it before I gave it to her. I can see it will be very useful, as she comes across many of these items while she's out buying stuff for our flea markets and shop.

Very good book whether a collector or not.

This is an oldish American issue book so prices are not really relevant today but still give an idea of relative value. Packed with photographs of a very wide range of sewing items. Short descriptions are included for each photo plate. An enthusiasts book really. Spot what you have got and have not got!
