Excellent for sensitive eyes that water
I bought this for the first time this year (2022) but so wish I’d found it before now. My eyes puff up, sting and water so badly with most sunscreens even those ones that say they’re for sensitive skin or babies. I’ve tried an enormous range of sunscreens for sensitive skin and paid a ridiculous amount of money trying to get one that doesn’t make me want to tear out my eyeballs! I thought I’d try this and it’s fabulous. Yes, it’s a bit tricky to rub in - but it does eventually (tip - put your moisturiser on first, let it absorb then put this on - goes on much easier than straight on to dry skin). Yes, it leaves a temporary white cast but just don’t use too much, rub it in well, and it will sink in after a short while. No, it doesn’t go on silky smooth like chemical creams and it’s a bit of a faff - but if you have sensitive skin or eyes this works and works really well. It leaves a kind of lovely moisturised matte finish once the cream has settled (and the white cast does disappear). No real scent, no reactions, very effective. I’m really so glad and relieved I found it. 5*.

Its cheaper than its competitors! But still too high. But it does tick all the boxes so…
Its cruelty free, mineral, ecosafe, non toxic, high spf, travel size. Turned up well sealed. In good time.Yea. Im happy.

Perfect for eyes sensitive to SPF!
I have tried dozens of different sensitive unscented SPF's on the face, and this is the only one I've tried that I can wear all day that never makes my eyes sting or water. I even apply it directly to my eyelids and the corners of my eyes with no stinging. My eyes are really sensitive to SPF normally, they usually burn a lot, especially after a few hours when it mixes with my natural skin oils.Because this is a mineral sunscreen, it is a bit thicker and leaves more of a cast than a chemical sunscreen, but it really isn't prohibitive and the cast fades after the cream settles. On days where I don't want to worry about the cast, I will apply this around my eye mask area only, then use my other facial sun cream on the rest of my face. This keeps my whole face protected from the sun and my sensitive eyes protected from the chemical SPF!

The good thing to be said for this is that it ...
The good thing to be said for this is that it does leave my skin looking nice (although greasy) as it seems to somehow make pores looks smaller. Iv not noticed that it has any unpleasant scent either. I still got a little burnt using it, but it was in an area possibly rubbed by clothing so I'm not sure I'd blame the lotion. I went back to using chemical sun lotion in the end though (Nivea) as I had real trouble with how greasy this is. I had to just accept my hair would look a bit greasy round my face, and have to wash my hair daily when using this(a huge pain as my hair is waist length). I tried using powder foundation over it, but it was still overly sticky and made it cake, and to be honest I hate wearing makeup so I usually chose to just look greasy. It looked very white when I put it on but it went translucent quickly. It left my skin very sticky for the entire day when I used it in the morning, and I hated the feeling of my clothes sticking to my skin.I dont HATE the product, but it cost me £16 for the bottle and as much as I didn't want to, I have to admit I don't see the value in getting it again when when Nivea is easier to wear and a third of the price.

No allergic reaction or burning with this sunscreen and at a good price too
I suddenly became allergic to normal chemical sunscreen and came up with an horrible itchy rash. I then looked for alternative 'physical' sunscreens and they were all so expensive. I tried one and it didn't work at all and I still got a rash (and burnt!) and then tried this one. It is not too bad to apply, it does take longer to rub in than a chemical suncream but it does rub in ok. The white cast is hardly noticeable. The main thing is that I had no reaction at all to this and it also worked - no burning! For the price, it is excellent and I used about half a tube in 5 days. I would recommend this for people who can't tolerate chemical-based creams.

Causes Acne - Avoid like the plague !
I bought it after the positive reviews but I had such a bad reaction to this cream. This causes painful cystic acne all over my face. I have acne prone skin but never painful acne. I am now using Heliocare gel and my skin is so much better . Please do not use this cream if you have acne prone skin

Sensory nightmare
This product is so thick and greasy, sits on top of the skin never feeling like it has absorbed. Also has a white cast!

Great for under makeup
I have a bit of a love hate with this sun cream. I hate how it looks on its own; its very greasy/sticky, can get quite streaky and does leave a white cast, however nowhere near as bad as other mineral sunscreens I have tried and I'm very pale. But, I LOVE how moisturising it is, which I believe is why its so greasy. I have normal to dry skin and my face feels amazing after I've worn it. Wearing a moisturiser underneath makes it very hard to rub in, but I've found I really don't need one under it anyway. It's also great under makeup. I guess it depends what type you use but I have found no problems. Still looking for a sunscreen for the days that I don't wear makeup though. But as a budget, good quality sun cream it is a keeper for makeup wearing days. I definatly don't recommend if you have oily skin, but of course sunscreen is trial and error, you have to try it to know how it will be on you
