Sunspecs Rubber Top Wooden Skimboard with Slip Free Grip (No Wax Needed!)

This board seemed bigger than I expected but my son had a blast learning to use it at the beach recently. It was challenging but satisfying to see him finally get a little run on it. The board didn't need any stuff to make it stickier - it was great as is and it's in our garage now to use for our next beach trip. Two thumbs up.

The bottom of this board started warping and peeling off less than an hour of using in the water. I am sending it back.

Really the jury is still out on this, but I believe it’s a great value for the money. I bought it for my grandson who lives out of state. He has only used it once and is still trying to master it. I think based on other boards I’ve seen for sale and his skill level it is a good buy.

My son loved this! His summer vaca at the shore was extra amazing . The board held up and I’m sure it will for next year. Well made and lots of fun! Skim board on!

Layers began peeling away after only 10 minutes in the surf. Kids were SO disappointed.Buy a board that is sealed with polyurethane. Spend the extra money.

I like it. Fair price. Works wonderful for my 6 year old daughter. It’s a little hard for her to throw herself right now but she’ll get there. Well made

We bought this for my son who is 10, looked great out of the box. We thought the foam padding would be nice so it wouldn't need wax but after only 2 days of use the padding has started coming off already. The board functions great but don't count on yhe padding lasting very long.

This item is not worth the money. Too heavy of material causes the board to sink instead of skim. Save your money and buy one that may cost a bit more but you'll be able to use it.
