DII Trapezoid Seagrass Metallic Basket, 16x5x4-Set of 2, Silver

I used these for each side of our couch in the RV, works perfect for holding small items. Nicely made and feels like a quality basket. So happy they had these sizes.

I'm going with 4 stars on this one.1. This is, as it says, woven sea grass. As such, one should expect it to be more rustic looking, less finished looking, and have ends/knots where one strand stops and the next starts.The reason I'm going with 4 stars is because some of those loose ends are on the outside, which I take to be poor decision making. The end should have been shortened to keep it inside the cube. I think I'll be able to secure them better, but I shouldn't have to, hence the -star.Having said that, I still very much like this.> Very sturdy - in the listing pic, all the vertical stitching are where dowels are. The bottom is also nicely reinforced with them, so it is all very strong.> The handles are sturdy and fully functional.> The bottom and top frames are also some stiff dowel, fully wrapped with sea grass.> The sparkly gold part is that translucent crinkly material, I forget what it's called, sorry. It looks like it's wrapped around a sea grass strand, and woven in every other layer.> Just FYI, in person it does have a little more metallic/sheen to it. That's some of that colored translucent foil-like crinkle stuff, woven in with the sea grass. The last listing pic shows it pretty well.> While the listing pick that shows the inside bottom looks solid except for edges, that's not quite the case with the one I got. I made a pic, with monitor light behind, so you could see. It's not bad, just don't expect it to be that solid.I'll update if any durability issues pop up, but for now, as I mentioned, I do like this quite a bit.

Opened them and both baskets have the weaving falling apart . This is my first bad review for an item .they would have been perfect except the was I h is messed up I had to tuck and shove the parts back in and hope they had it through the patty I bought them for . Not a good item .I didn’t have time to send them back or I would have ugghhhh

These basket were the perfect little addition to my TV stand. Needed something to fill in the holes and these were long and tall enough to add just the right touches.

These are attractive baskets, to be sure. But for anyone buying them, I’d say don’t expect perfection. There are flaws, but where I’m going to put them, they won’t be really noticeable. Some of the workmanship is a bit iffy, like whoever was working on these baskets could have been anxious to punch out and go home. But I’m definitely keeping them, as I still like them. And they are a little flashier than just a brown wicker basket, which does give them more interest. Would I still buy them, knowing what I now know? My answer would be... yes.

I use one on the toilet tank (it fits perfectly!) and the other one on my living room cabinet. They are perfect and pretty!

Super pretty and elegant basket. I purchased both sizes. The colors are khaki and silver metallic interwoven. Perfect for the decor I have. I purchased the hamper of same too. Can’t find these in stores. Price is decent for quality and look. Glad I got the set.

Overall, they were what I expected. The quality wasn't 5 star given the price, as there were some gaps between the rows of material used to weave. I ordered a larger version as well, and it looks good on the counter holding bread, bagels, etc that end up all over the counter. I actually got the wrong size initially, and then when I got the replacement I got 4 instead of 2. So I had to return the extras, but the replacement process was smooth.

I am sorry to say that I found the weaving that made up the basket of poor quality. The cording was loose and thin with spaces in-between the weaves. The weave was also coming apart where the cord was either beginning or ending. The metallic thread made it look cheap. It was definitely not worth the price so I returned it.

Ideal basket for storage on shelving unit over the toilet. However Amazon only shipped one instead of the two as described and then were very difficult to deal with in rectifying situation.

Needed a cute holder for folded washcloths for my clinic to fit on the small counter. Does the job
