TP-Link Archer T6E AC1300 PCIe Wireless WiFi network Adapter Card for PC, with Heatsink Technology (Certified Refurbished)

I purchased this a few months ago, and it worked good, at first. The I started noticing that it was having a problem with 5G, sometimes it wouldnt "see" the 5G in the area, sometimes it would connect but not get a good IP address from the router. ( The reason for 2 stars instead of 1, is that the 2.4G works well.) All my other devices worked flawlessly with the modem/router on 5G. Now it will only even connect maybe half the time, and if/when it connects, it wont browse, cant ping the modem/router at all.Very dissapointing. I did get the refurbished model, so perhaps it is my lesson learned. Regardless, I am staying away from the product in the future even brand new.

I purchased this item because my usb WiFi adapters were overheating and stopped working or would shut off until they cooled down. This card is a giant heat sink so I hoped it would be a good alternative. I have an old Windows 10 computer I use as a home media server. I have streamed multiple episodes and movies without the card overheating.This adapter is refurbished. That wasn’t obvious from the product description. It comes with a mini CD with old windows drivers on it. I downloaded the Windows 10 driver from the TP Link website.Everything is working great! Strong signal. Good speeds. It’s been on for several days now and still has a strong signal and no overheating.UPDATE: Several months later and this is still functioning as well as ever.

I got this to replace my POS Netgear USB wifi adapter. I had trouble installing it only because my case I bought was cheap and the black slots dimensions for the metal plate to be screwed into the case were not made correct so I had to cut my slot out myself. Other than that, installation of drivers and utility is great. It works great it reliable and it's fast and I just have a slight signal restraint at times and I'm only about 20 ft from my router.

I dont doubt this is a good product. I'm sure it works fine for most everyone, but for me it would not install. When i put in the PCIx socket my pc would not boot up, it would just hang on a blank screen. I could not go into safe mode either. I tried it in my other available PCI sockets (I had 3) and none worked. I ordered another MFG card and that one worked fine for me so I returned this one. I have a HP 6300 SFF desktop with windows 10.

Good price. Easy install. I recently got 1 gigabit internet and needed an upgrade of my ethernet card to take advantage of the speed. I installed this in minutes on Windows 10 and upgraded to most recent drivers without a hitch.

Don't buy this renewed... spend the extra $4 and buy this card brand new. My renewed card was dead on arrival (Kanga Supply was the seller). Now that I have a working T6E (bought new), I'm extremely satisfied with its performance.

The package came fast without any problems and was in good physical condition.I did not like how they did not include a manual but they did include a small installation page. After installing what I thought were the drivers for this model (windows 10 64bit), and installing the adapter on my motherboard, I could not find the adapter anywhere on the computer. After searching for the device in the control panel for a while and going through the system device list it still was nowhere to be found. I knew the card was getting power as its light was on so I figured I would run the driver anyway. The driver not surprisingly could not find a device and therefore could not install properly. (I also tried installing and using the other available drivers to no avail)I will be sending this back, be aware this item is Refurbished and has no guarantee of working however, had it worked, it would have been an excellent deal.

I have terrible service from Comcast Xfinity, but this card still does its best. Only issue was clearance while installing in an ASRock Z170 Pro4. The screw holding the PCIe bracket to the PCB rubs against the I/O shroud on the board and you have to install at a slight angle. I had to remove my graphics card to get this thing in. No biggie though, I still recommend it.
