A surprising thriller!
While in the airport with pizza in hand, headed to get a diet coke, I told the shop owner, 'It figures I would find a coke here in a bookstore'. I so love to read. The title and bookcover drew me in with its red lettering!! I was immediately intrigued!! The story was so addictive, and each chapter so carefully crafted and placed, I found myself wanting for the first time, to skip to the next heading of the chapter for either Tasha or Janette to see what was unfolding from their viewpoint! It was so well written with so many things intrinsicly set and intertwined so well without revealing all, but just enough to keep you reading until the next reveal!! Bravo to Claire Douglas and her team!!! Job well done! I was SHOCKED with the revealing, did not see it coming!

Twisty
Loved the simple style of this book. Tasha and Alice trade lives for a week and both encounter something sinister. Great characters and twisty.

family drama read
The Wrong Sister by Claire Douglas is a slow to medium paced family drama. I don't think I would classify this as a thriller but more a minor suspenseful drama.Tasha and her husband Aaron couldn't be more different from Alice (Tasha's sister) and her husband Kyle. Tasha and Aaron have the quiet life whereas Alice is a PhD scientist and Kyle works in the Tech world. When Alice suggests a life swap, Tasha agrees and she and Aaron head to Venice. When Tasha receives a call that her sister has been attacked and in the hospital and Kyle is dead, Tasha heads home desperate to find out who would do this. When Tasha receives an anonymous note saying "It was supposed to be you" she realizes there is more to this than she thinks.Told in multiple POVs, this helped with the story as well as the back story however for me this changed the pace. The beginning went quickly but then slowed down when the back story came into play. The ending for me was ok. I had most of it figured out about halfway through but the ending twist was a shock. Overall a good read. 3 stars

Very good
Great book. Gave me an insight on how women think. And I am glad I am a Man. Lmao! But anyways, it’s a well written book with a nice twist at the end. Kind of predictable, though. Still, I enjoyed the book.

The Wrong Sister
Another good book from Claire Douglas although it did drag a bit in some places. It did arrive very quickly from the International sight. I guess its not published yet in the U.S. I have read all of Claire Douglas's books and am looking forward to the next one. Her English dialogue takes some getting used to.
