Booths Pork Apple and Cider Sausages, Pack of 6

I've now purchased these sausages more than 5 times.I've tried all of the Booths range, and these are definitely up there, in my top 2.You receive 6, big succulent sausages.Ingredients wise, they are 78% pork, with the rest being made up from water, breadcrumbs (gluten free), dried apple, and flours, with the remainder from seasonings and preservatives.They are 5% cider.The casings are made from beef collagen, as they should be.Health wise, they're not too bad.Fat is 13.6%, with saturates being 4.6%.That is a raw sausage content, so if you grill them like I always do, a lot of that fat content will drain off.The sausages themselves are very tasty. Juicy and succulent and with a hint of apple taste.Don't over cook them, as they will then lose a lot of their juiciness, but grill them and take them out when they are still plump and you will have a lovely sausage, perfect with a traditional breakfast or delicious in a sandwich.They are also particularly well suited to a sausage casserole or a Toad-In-The-Hole.I hope you found this review.

Better than your average sausage

I love these sausages, they're delicious and the apple and cider really comes through in the flavour. I will definitely get again.

I very much enjoy fruit with meat so these are my idea of heaven. The apple is chopped small but doesn’t get lost. Would buy again

Really good flavors

They aren't terrible, just not that good but they are priced higher than the premium brand sausages from many UK retailers.They are worth half the price, at most.
