Great quality modeling clay
I've tried multiple brands of air dry clay and I have purchased other products from the Pepy brand. So, when I saw they were selling air dry clay figure I would give this a try. This product is great. Pliable and easy to work with. If the clay starts to dry a bit while you are working with it, a little water goes a long way. And, when you are done sculpting whatever it is you are making, the clay air dries nicely and evenly. Definitely as good, if not better, than some other more expensive brands.

Prepare for the Smell While You Work
This is a great air dry clay option, but as most people stated in other reviews, the scent is... well, it's memorable. Thankfully, I have ventilation equipment to help with that, but if you don't, be prepared when you open the package and work with this product. I like that I can smooth this clay out, and the shrinkage is minimal. The bar feels hefty wet in the package, and it maintains that heft when it dries, which is great. I do wear gloves when I work with this product, bc I have sensitive skin, which has kept the heavy color off me, too. Definitely would use again, though.

Bit of an odor, lovely results regardless.
I have yet to use the black clay, so I'm not sure how much it will differ, though from working with the terra cotta and white I can say that the colored clay tends to color your hands and work surface more, takes a bit longer to dry, and has more of an odor than the plain white.I can see why some might be put off by the smell of it, working in a ventilated area would mitigate much of this. Once the piece are dry there is still some odor, but this decreased once I painted the pieces and I'm sure will be gone once I get around to putting a clear sealing coat on them.

Strong, versatile clay
makes a bit of a mess as any clay does, but cleans up easily as advertised. Satisfactory.
